My MSI laptop has an 128GB M.2 for its OS drive and another 512 SSD for storage and am out of room on the 128GB M.2. I did have to buy two adapters so I could go from m.2 to m.2!

Interesting? I had the same problem with a Asus Z1701 Pro Gaming and I'm trying to remember what I had to do to fix it. I didn't have to buy anything. Im thinking it was a BIOS setting than format. I did have one heck of a time getting the OS on it. I ended up installing it on another Samsung ssd and using the Samsung software the copy it to the M.2 than tell the BIOS to boot to that drive.

Most of the motherboards have no integrated graphics, and the CPUs that are supported do not have integrated graphics. That's why.

    1. There's no Founders Edition RX 480. These are only Nvidia.
    2. Reference designs are not recommended in general, cause they're loud, hot and don't overclock too well with the stock cooler. This is to both AMD and Nvidia.
    3. There will be no issues even if you get the reference edition, this has been fixed and even if it wasn't, it still wouldn't be an issue.

Still, it has been fixed and there are no issues regarding PCI-E power draw. And even if it wasn't, there would be no issues, the "excessive" power draw would be like 4-5W over the rated 75W power draw from the PCI-E slot, it can supply even more, these are only 'rated' specs.

A non-reference version, MSI Gaming X RX 480 for example, or PowerColor Red Devil RX 480.

I assumed it won't take long too long to add in a 1TB hdd - it's $50. If that's not the case then nevermind.

You're clearly not going to fit all your games in the SSD, just the ones that matter. Like multiplayer games, where shorter loading times can prove to be very useful.

Get a better power supply. The Corsair CX450M or CX550M, XFX TS 550W and the Seasonic S12II 520 are all good choices.

'I've never had a problem with mine and therefore it must be good' argument doesn't mean it's good. I had a guy who tried to use that argument with me on his low-quality Raidmax unit and needless to say, it didn't go well.

I'll just stick with the Corsair CXM 450W 80+ Bronze then.
