    Or have the screen lower its brightness instead, and have the CPU enter an idle state. Also put the Wireless adapter into a 'sleep mode' of sorts where it can still be awoken from LAN. But not the SSD xD

    that is a 87w charger. this laptop's original charger is 65w.

    HP: make it drop the display to 40hz when you disconnect it from AC 

     

    Also HP: don't enable ASPMs and extend the battery life significantly because it could break stuff - don't even make it a toggle.

    my t480 doesn't charge from AC when plugged into AC when asleep sometimes, so sometimes I get ~10% battery the next day because it didn't fucking charge

    the trick is to open it up, resume windows, then plug it in, then sleep..

    An Intel U-Series CPU, draining the battery faster than the charger can provide wattage? Did HP just f-up again?! xD
