    LOL, no school is going to custom build PCs. to much time, and what if parts fail/computer fails. they dont care what the issue is they want to be able to send the whole computer back.

    yes, because then you will have a air gap between the display and the glass screen protector. I broke my screen and ordered knock off glass, some people complained that some came without the samsung name on it. I thought itd be super cool if it was unbranded. mine came branded

    id be scared as hell to take a 3k laptop to college. My step dad offered me a 1k laptop, and said screw that ill take my trusty I3 thinkpad. its college. a 3k laptop WILL get stolen ihmo. question is do you want a big thick powerful laptop thats MAX POWAAAA or do you want something more portable. most very high end laptops have poor battery life because of GPUS. have you looked at the razer laptops?

    a chip at stock should not be crashing, something else is wrong most likely

    Run valley benchmark, or have any gpu monitoring software open and see if both are under load while gaming

    have to run games in fullscreen. when I got my 2 7970s, I was running valley in a window next to my OC software. had no idea why my framerate didnt improve at all for a bit lol

    fun fact, ddr3 is cheaper then dd4, who knew.

    you can just change the clock speed yourself. for free. in 30 seconds. no bios changing needed

    backwards mate. 1 CAN= .76 USD. because you need more CAN money to equal USD money. thats how I remember otherwise ill get it backwards. because its worth less you need more. my head hurts. its a bad time to be in canada and want to buy anything in the US. good time if you're in the US and want to buy canada stuff

    http://www.teslamotors.com/blog/infinite-mile-warranty cough Cough Range is the huge concern. and electric may never be for everyone until we get to the point we just swap out batteries, or have recharging roads. and in the extreme cold, car batteries can lose up to 40% of their charge simply by being shocked by the cold temps. not to mention electric heating is hardly efficent, and takes quite a bit of power. so winter range is HORRIBLE.

    Brink gave you your answer. the x4 860K is better, but has zero upgrade path. yes, because we hate brands and all they make and not evaluate based on use case and individual products.

    we dont have trains here. or bike lanes. weird how different cultures are. without a car your stuck in whatever city your in. the only way to get from city to city is highways, unless we are talking major cities.
