  1. wait so, what if you prefer to have the AIOs at the top (placing the entire rig on your right side so window side will be on the left) how would the feets/cover be inverted? @dondan
  2. Theres more updates on this(link) forum as he is more active there. I believe the kickstarter is planned on end of may. The updates on the other forum indicates that kickstarter pricing would be 170-190 euros. I believe it does ship to UK
  3. thanks for the answers you have one more future backer on your list, and will be looking forward to it I really do hope the filters for venting holes will be included tho
  4. @dondan I was looking at Louqe Ghost S1 mk2 and saw your thread on here, and it looks super interesting and I very much like it. (Most likely would switch over) However, I do have some few concerns. Q1: It seems like you are considering 2.5 slot for the case to allow fitment for a card like ASUS 1080 Ti Strix. But it seems like your max clearance you allowed for Graphics cards are only 295mm when the Strix cards are 298mm. Was there a dimension change? or am I just missing something entirely? If the clearance was not changed, would you be willing to make the change to allow upto 300mm? Q2: What would the exact clearance change for the CPU cooler/pumps if the 2.5 slot was used? (I'm assuming the 2.5 slot will take away the clearance for CPU coolers). Q3: Do you have an estimated timeline? (or possibly a estimated time when the case would be in my hands?) Just checking since you did mention long production time for one of the A4 disadvantages. Q4: Will you consider any air filters for panels with venting holes? I thought magnetic air filters would be a nice addition. I'm also thinking that there would be more negative air pressure that will draw in air from top panel (based on your air diagram), and this will come with dust. A simple magnetic dust filter for the top, sides, bottom (x4) or (x3 with temper glass) and clean non-venting back panel will make the system less prone to dust. I am actually really hoping that you do put in dust filters even if that means higher price tag. Q5: So what was the final statement on having the logo on the case, and the back panel situation(venting, clean, robber grommets)? Q6: Will you consider any add-on projects? Possibly a universal dan-cases carrying bag? A nice quality bag for travel that doesn't take too much space, and fits just the A4 and C4 case. I'm assuming most if not some SFF enthusiasts are traveling and relocating their setups very frequently, and a method to handle the case would be a great plus. Thanks in advance
  5. Louqe Ghost S1 mk2 recently got out of kickstarter so what I might be asking might be very far-fetched. BUT I'm going to have some hope... I got super interested after watching Jayztwocents video of Louqe Ghost S1, so I read all kinds of Louqe's tests, read through their FAQs and kickstarter comments, and (of course) seen all videos on it. However, there was one question that was still left unanswered so I'm using all kinds of method to put myself to rest on this little 'itch'. HERES THE QUESTION: Will a graphics card fitted with a Kraken G12 (ideally a 1080 strix) fit in the Louqe Ghost S1 mk2? (and still close the side panel?) I have emailed Louqe but they haven't given me a satisfactory response...which was referring me to Kraken X31 and EVGA Hybrid card test. I left comments on videos with the question; left unanswered... My ideal build on the Louqe is to have TWO large tophats both on the top and the bottom of the Ghost S1 itself. The top...hat will have the 240mm AIO for the CPU The bottom...hat will have another 240mm AIO for the GPU fitted onto a Kraken G12. I am 99% certain that both radiators+fans will fit (since they will both have their 'tophats'), but still not sure if the graphics card and the G12 itself will fit inside (and still have the side panel close). I also know that from Louqe's FAQ that graphics card with 2.5 slot dimension will not fit. (But that still doesnt tell me if a G12 on a graphics card can fit) It seems very far-fetched to get this itch away, but I'm just hoping someone might have an idea here.
  6. Yea I think this is the problem I'm going through right now. I'm slowly thinking if self-building is an option
  7. Yea the current one I have right now is Filco majestouch2 ninja TKL with black switches but the problem being that it has no blacklighting
  8. Yeah I did check them out before, but it doesnt seem like they come in Blacks.
  9. I'm just really looking for the 'right' mechanical, and I'm hoping someone on this forum can help me. So I went through quite a few of mechanical keyboards but I just can't find 'the one' Here are the keyboards I went through in the past: - SteelSeries 6Gv2 Black (my first ever mechanical keyboard) - Quick Fire Rapid - SteelSeries 6Gv2 Red - Filco Majestouch TKL Red - Ducky TKL (forgot which but absolutely hated it) - Corsair K70 - KeyCool TKL (forgot the model) - Corsair K65 RGB - Vortex Poker - Filco Majestouch2 TKL Ninja (Black) (My current one) I actually really love my current keyboard, and it is the best I have used so far. However, it isn't backlit and it definitely is a struggle for me when I do my work/gaming in the dark. (I really like to be in a cold dark room) Here are the features that I really want to have: - TKL (never used numpads, and I feel like TKL is a must at this point) (I also tried Poker but I really needed the function keys for IDE shortcuts) - Backlit (the current struggle I have with my current keyboard) - Heavy Linear switches (equivalent or heavier than the Cherry Blacks) - Good QC The following features would be a great 'plus' if I had them: - non-detachable cable (I had multiple problems with multiple keyboards with detachable keyboard) (the problem being that if the connector is hit/wiggled the keyboard would input something weird or not work) - n-key rollover I'm open to the idea of trying out new different switches, but really really favor the super heavy linear switches. I think the closest one I found was the MassDrop x Input Club K-Type with Kaihua Red switches, but I read awfully a lot of people mentioning bad QC. Someone even got a bent chassis keyboard (thats not going to fly for me) Thanks in advance!
  10. theres no rule about limiting one AIO per system just use two if it fits
  11. I did think about the restricted airflow. And don't quote me on this as im not a scientist, but if the fans are spinning, then the air has to come from somewhere right? I thought that restriction around the area will cause enough negative air pressure to draw air from that back side panel. This is for drawing air.. Otherwise we have a future case modder over here.
  12. Just taking opinions to calm my overly excited expectations for this new case. Do you think dual 120mm fans can fit behind (right side) of the front fan bracket? So this new Inwin 301 case that I had my eyes on since CES 2017, should be coming out soon but I just cant grasp the idea how small this case can be. I was really hoping other tech utubers to review the new mATX form factor case Inwin 301, but I can't seem to land any besides HardwareCannucks. I'm asking people's opinion because I plan on moving my build over to this case. However, I have a NZXT x52 AIO liquid cooler that I plan to put onto the front bracket AND I have 1080 Strix card, which is pretty f***ing long. Just based on HardwareCannucks' review, Dmitry did have the x52 aio but he had the fans and the rad on left side of the front bracket. Based on the video (I watched it at least 8 times), it seems like the front bracket is removable. So do I have any hope for this case, or am I just going to be let down and be pushed over to Define Mini C? Thanks
  13. thanks for the answer guys
  14. Can you split a single ethernet cable coming from a router/modem combo for two PCs? been googling this question for days but still haven't came to a clear solution. So the idea behind this is that I have a super long ethernet cable coming from one side of my house to the other for my desktop. I have an unused computer that I plan on putting this into my room, but would really like it to be a wired connection for both of these desktops. Visual-wise .----------. __ _ | Router | .---------> [__]|=| | Modem | | /::/|_| | Combo | across the house .----. | |----------------------->| ? | | | '----' '----------' | __ _ | [__]|=| '--------->/::/|_| Can I put a network switch in the ? mark box to have these two desktops on wired connection off a single Cat5e cable coming from the modem/router combo? Thanks in advance
