  1. Here is one I thought about while I was at work. Why do PC monitors not come with webcams built in. Laptops have built in webcams. Tablets and phones have cameras. Why not standard monitors? What do you think?
  2. I would get the 970. Save some money and it really is very close in performance. Since gaming is not a huge priority it should do fine. This is coming from a guy who still runs a 970 in my main PC. Great card overall. Hope this helps.
  3. I may just give it to my nephews to use it. They have a Nintendo Switch and are into fortnite, Mario, Sonic Ect. Could be fun for them to play on and work on homework assignments.
  4. Case is the Narwhal case. I do not recall who makes it. power supply is a Seasonic 850 watt X series with modular cables. We would be talking USD.
  5. Depends on the price. In some benchmarks the 970 beats the 1060 by a few frames. If I had the choice I would get the 1060 given that it is a newer card in general. Are they both used, or is one new?
  6. Just curious what your guys thoughts are on the subject. SPECS FX-8350 16 Gigs Gskill DDR3 (1600MHZ) Gigabyte 990 FX motherboard 256 GIG Samsung 850 EVO SSD 1 terabyte HDD Galax GTX 760, 2G of VRAM. Everything works great and runs windows 10 fine. What do you think would be a fair price for it. Thanks in advance for the feedback.
  7. I use mine fairly regularly. Most of the time I use it for BEAT SABER. You could say I am a bit addicted. Love my rift, it has honestly been tons of fun.
  8. ok i think i shall wait then. May grab another GPU next year.
  9. so it is not worth upgrading then?
  10. I was curious if it would be worth it to upgrade my GTX970 to something like a GTX1060. Maybe a 1080 if I can swing it. I game at 1080p so it may not be needed. I am planning on grabbing a rift at some point. A friend of mine brought his over and it ran fine on my pc, so I was just curious. What do you guys think?
  11. The motherboard should disable the dual channel ability by itself. I don't think that the speed difference will be enough to offset the fact that your ram has doubled. Go for it I don't think you will have any problems.
  12. The 6700K has better single core performance, but the 6800K has more PCI lanes for your graphics card and expansion cards. I would buy the 6800K if I had the choice. The 16 PCI lanes on the 6700K would be consumed by the GPU alone. Add another card and your speed is cut in half.
  13. I am looking for a good all purpose laptop for my older sister. Her current laptop is a HP G60. Pentium dual core processor with three gigs of ram. It runs Windows Vista. She needs an upgrade. The budget is $500 firm. I can spend less, but no more. It must have lots of storage, ram and a disc drive. These things are not negotiable. As always when I look at buying a new system I always like getting a lot of opinions. Thank you for the help.
  14. I had a couple of issues with the new Gforce experience. I ended up uninstalling it through safe mode and then reinstalling the program after downloading the new one from their website. I also updated my graphics card drivers at the same time. It is now working. I was a pain to be honest. I hope that helps.
  15. I am with them on this one. cleaning out the cooling systems could do wonders for the gaming aspects of your computer. Your hardware is very good and should be quite capable.
