    I've already tried. Windows fails to find any drivers and I'm not really noticing any issues other than a ping spike every 5 minutes or so.

    Bad news, bios update did nothing for the problem. Think that the best course of action here is to upgrade the mobo.... Finally a good reason!

    I've been scouring the bios and can't even find anything relating to LAN... other than wake up on LAN. I decided to reset to defaults in case I had at one point accidentally turned something off. No good, still nothing. As for the LED's, no. The activity lights that would normally be blinking don't seem to be doing anything.

    More detail: When trying to install drivers, the wizard says, "The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled Please Plug the Cable."

    Hi all, I've recently had a problem with my Ethernet port on my Asrock AB350M Pro4. I moved into a new apartment today, one with a wired connection that I didn't previously have. I have verified that the cable I'm using works, as well as the wall port, however, my desktop doesn't seem to want to recognize that there's a cable plugged into it. I looked further into device manager and it doesn't appear that Windows is even detecting that I have an Ethernet port. Additionally, when I run ipconfig/all in the command prompt (What clued me into this issue) there is no result for Ethernet adapter. I've tried to install drivers for the port that I got off of Asrock's website, but they failed to install due to the apparent lack of a port. I'd love for someone cleverer than I to help solve this issue. A picture of what I see in network adapters

    Hello, I'm experiencing some BSOD issues again with my Ryzen 3000 system. I have posted before about this but I believe to have narrowed the causes down. When NZXT CAM runs, I get a laggy screen followed, after a couple of minutes, by a BSOD with the stop code DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. Windows 10 Home x64 Mainly parts that are less than 2 years old OS age of slightly less than a month Ryzen 3700x NVIDIA RTX 2070 (MSI Armor 8G) Asrock Ab350m Pro4 (Flashed BIOS to one that supports 3rd gen ryzen) Corsair RM550x 080719-7468-01.dmp Home-built PERFMON REPORT.html 080719-7468-01.dmp

    Update: Windows is running stable now, all is good and without BSOD. As for the temps, I believe they were a result of my mobo pushing too much power in (1.5v)... ouch. Down-volted manually back to default 1.35 and things idle at 36-38c on windows.

    I'll try that. There are some mandatory drivers in windows for my board to run the updated bios... I have no idea what their purpose is, but I installed them because that's what the manufacturer's website told me to do. I hope that there won't be any issues with a fresh install of windows, but we will just have to wait and see....

    Yeah, I have checked the manufacturers website. It supports 3rd gen. Weird thing is though, I cloned it while my 1500x was still in the system, with no issues, crashes or bsods. Only when I installed a new CPU did the issues start. Also have no idea about the temps.

    I recently bought a 3700x for my ab350m pro4. I flashed the bios to p5.90, the latest version, in the correct sequence with the correct software. So, I installed the 3700x after doing this, mounted the cooler blah blah blah... The PC successfully posted, and I entered the bios. Everything looks fine until I see the temperatures. The temps were reading around 60 degrees Celsius in the bios... not good. I decided to test it for myself and feel the physical cooler and heat pipes and they were room temperature, certainly not what I would be feeling if the cpu was running at 60c. So that is issue 1 of 2. I decided to continue into windows, knowing that I probably wasn't actually causing any physical damage to the cpu, as it is not as hot as it is reading. After about a minute inside windows, I get frozen applications, then about 30 seconds later a BSOD with the error code DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. I haven't seen this before, so I google it. Turns out it is typically an SSD type error. I just moved my OS from a SATA SSD to an NVME gen 3 M.2 SSD. I don't know if the cpu is having issues running the gen 3, which I doubt it would, or if there is another problem that I need to sort out, like a driver error or corruption. To make matters worse, since the system will only stay operable for about a minute, I don't have the ability do download any dump file applications, or even find them myself as told in the BSOD thread; the system just dies too quickly in windows to do anything. I don't know how to fix this, hopefully you all can come through again with some answers to these issues.

    There is one, it's the AsRock x570m pro4. It is fairly expensive and seems to have dodgy power delivery, hence the avoidance.

    I wouldn't have too much of an issue if I hadn't invested in an mATX case (h400). With the mATX form factor going out the window, I don't think I'll make that mistake again. I do hate to see the form factor losing popularity, as I believe it is a perfect medium between ATX and ITX, but there just isn't much support for it anymore. That said, I don't want to pay for another case, so I was looking into mATX boards specifically.

    Thanks, I will definitely try that. If you did have to suggest an option for me, what would you choose? wait for B550 or settle for a B450?

    Hello techies, I am in the process of upgrading my 1500x to a 3700x (big jump). I know that my board (AsRock ab350m pro4), even though technically supporting, can barely handle the power needed to supply the 3700x. So, I need a new board. There is an AsRock x570m pro4 board, but I don't particularly want to spend the money on an x570 chipset, especially when it seems that the power delivery/cooling may not be up to par. Before I continue to rant, I want to mention that I only plan to do smaller overclocks across all cores (100-200Mhz in addition). I have looked into some of the higher-end matx b450 boards and there seem to be some good options, such as the MSI B450M Mortar (which seems to have good enough power delivery). I also wonder if I should just wait for the release of the B550 chipset, though I don't like the idea of waiting that long. I hope that the collective knowledge of the PCMR can bring me some insight.     That seems to have fixed it. Thanks for the help! I do wonder what might have caused it though, I've tried multiple DP cables so it must be an issue with the monitor itself.

    So, I purchased an MSI Optix G24C a few months ago. From the moment I first turned it on there appeared to be a strange issue with the display. The pixels seem to be more pronounced than on a typical 1080p monitor, especially when compared to my ASUS VG248. I have played with contrast, brightness and other settings on the monitor in pursuit of a potential fix. One day, not too long ago, the issue fixed itself with no input from myself. The fix lasted for as long as the monitor was on (Reverted itself shortly after when I turned it off). My friend also purchased the same monitor at the same place as me. He has had no issues, and his picture is crystal clear. I hope that someone might know more about this issue than me as it's starting to get on my nerves. Some pictures examples taken from both of my monitors in MSI afterburner. You can easily see the difference on the arrows next to "boost." In the second picture, it is easy to see a strange stair pattern. The issue persists throughout all of my programs (I can't attach any more pictures to the post).     In my system I have a Ryzen 1500X and an EVGA 1050ti. Rocket League (My favorite game) would normally run at ~150 fps at 1080p. I recently came home one day after letting a family member play on this system while I was away. The sight I saw was unsettling, a black screen with a vertical white bar on the right hand side of the monitor (probably 10 pixels wide). I proceeded to press the reboot button on my front IO, the PC loaded into Windows with no issues. I then ran Geforce Experience and updated drivers, thinking it was a driver issue that caused the black screen. After the driver installed I ran a Furmark stress test only to get a similar crash this time with a red screen (I was also in a discord server, after the crash discord still worked and I could still talk to people through it). At this point I figured that I had a dead graphics card on my hands and that I would have to buy another to play games anymore. With a stroke of blind luck I decided to move my 1050ti to the second PCIE slot on my motherboard (Asrock A B350m Pro 4). Windows booted in low resolution and 60hz, painful compared to my 144hz monitor. I got a notification in the action center that a video driver had failed to start, so I waited a bit and the driver eventually kicked in, which is odd for my system to do. I then ran Furmark and all seemed well, I still got the measly 42fps at 1080p that I normally would get. Ever since this event Rocket League has taken a severe performance hit, getting me around 60 to 80 fps in a multiplayer game, in comparison to the 150 that I could normally get. I don't know If the new Nvidia driver was bad for Rocket League, or if I have a dying video card, or just the one dead PCIE slot (I assumed it was a power issue on the slot as the card ran fine under no load in that slot). Another thing to note is that no other game has really seen a performance hit other than Rocket League. If anyone could put their mind forward and help me out then I would be extremely grateful, thanks!

    Do you have any Idea why msvcp100.dll is missing? I did another complete wipe, but it still won't let me use heaven bencmark.

    Just used an older driver, didn't help the issue. Also reinstalled windows just in case it was a software related issue, frametimes still spike into the 90s. Is it possible that I have a motherboard power issue? I don't know if that's even possible. Also, when trying to run a heaven benchmark, I now get an error message labled: msvcp10.dll is missing. Looked it up, it may be corrupted, virus, malware, or hardware failure. I haven't been on any malicious sites on this computer, so I doubt it is virus or malware.

    Moved to another PCIe slot, these are the results of an Unigine Heaven run on High, about to reinstall drivers. I have heard bad things about the new drivers, should I get an older one? If so, which one?
