yeah, I've actually messed up so many times, I needed to reinstall the OS like 4-5 times already because I messed up. I'm just doing it because I just got a laptop so yeah.

I've had some tutorials online, but its mostly just changing the authui.dll from the System32. here's the ones that I used. Okay, so I've been searching up on how I can make the "Username" in Windows 7 login Dissapear/Hide/Transparent and I cant seem to find it. and Is there a way to Change what it says in the "PasswordField" and can I change my "Password" so instead of it showing as a black dot, make it an asterisk. here's a diagram. Hi, Ok, so I just bought the Lenovo Y40 and it arrived yesterday now my problem is that it came with windows 8.1. I wiped the whole harddrive and it wont let me install windows 7 in it. Am I missing something that prevents me from installing windows 7? Thanks!

nothing, i cant even see the bios logo

so i just bought my new rig yesterday and i have a GA Z97X-UD3H-BK motherboard and i got the asus 750ti but the problem is that the 750ti is not getting detected. I tried plugging my hdmi to the onboard with the 6pin on the graphics card connected and it doesnt work but if i take off the 6pin it boots up.
