    I'm curious, now that the game is out what does everybody think? I have sunk a good 8 hours in to it now and despite things like the grass am very happy with how it looks. Supposedly they are allowing people to edit foliage density in the next patch which fixes my main gripe anyway.

    What do you mean? 10 years ago a game would be announced and then released a year or so later and people would either buy it or pass it by, nobody would pick the game apart for any discrepancies between the announcement and the launch.

    Streams? Well then I have no comeback to that, we all know the quality of a stream clearly reflects the quality of whats being shown What is them telling you going to achieve? Are you going to buy the game if they say a PC couldn't handle it but not if it was downgraded for another reason? Probably not, you and half the others on here have already condemned the game so I doubt you would actually listen to anything they say anyway.

    What burden of trust? They don't owe you anything and you aren't being forced to buy it.

    Why should they give you or "gamers" an explanation? They are making the game that they want to make, if they had to scale things back to achieve this then that was their choice. If you don't like the game when it comes out then don't play it, it's quite simple really.

    Thank you for using caps to emphasize your point, Google "vertical slice" that's all that the GAMEPLAY was. Maybe they were wrong about what PC's could handle with such a big open world, they would only discover this later into development.

    The problem with early "gameplay" trailers is that they are just that, a lot of functionality isn't in the game and there has been no optimization. They are only there to sell you the game.

    This. As others have said vote with your wallet, if you pre-ordered the game and now feel burnt then quite simply you shouldn't have pre-ordered. On the flip side don't ignore this game just because it doesn't look as good as you hoped, if it comes out and is a genuinely good game then surely it is still worth buying? Good graphics don't equal a good game. EDIT: Also, if anyone uses this as an excuse to Pirate the game, Fuck you.

    Okay great! It's a toss up between the SFX 600W and the SFX-L 500W, leaning more towards the 600 as I'm worried that the SFW-L will be too tight.

    Do you mind me asking how noticeable the chirping is? My Ncase should be coming at the end of the month but I still can't decide on what PSU to get, from the video it seems loud but I'm wondering whether it would be drowned out by the case fans.

    Huh I find that so strange but I guess it makes sense if you don't want learn a new system...to be honest I only had to suffer with dial up one or twice a week for the first year of my internet life so I never really got used to it

    Interesting, I have ordered the latest version (Revision 3?) so in theory that would be okay right?

    I'm sure I read that a lot of their SFX PSU's fail or have noise issues, do you have one yourself?

    I have just taken the plunge and invested in a M1 (Build log to follow ) however I am a little stuck on what PSU to get. Ideally I would like to try the new SFX-L PSU from Silverstone, from the reviews that I have read it's a lot quieter than most of the other SFX offerings however I am concerned as to whether it will restrict what graphics card I can use. Does anyone have any experience with using one of these in a M1, and if not are the standard SFX power supplies that bad of an option?
