BREAKING NEWS:

 

Crunchy's new trashtop has shut down.

Suspected reason: overheated.

 

Remedy? Find some way to better cool it. This could involve re-applying thermal compound for the second time in as many days.

 

I may have to more seriously consider undervolting as well.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: it was in fact idling at the time of shutdown.

    Maybe try liquid metal? It's risky for a laptop but, maybe it would help a little.

    That would be pretty risky, yeah. I'll have to try and figure out something with the heatsink itself, probably.

     

    I might have not cleaned it as thoroughly as I should have, worth looking into again.
