    It's probably just CPU launching the game as fast as possible, and throttling at TJmax tempature,
    since it never goes past 100°C sounds like the throttling works, and since during gaming it doesn't spike, it looks fine to me, let me quote some people who might know if I'm saying things right or if I'm wrong.. @Levent @PDifolco

    I think it's a HWinfo glitch, if it was really hitting 100C right when launching a game it would not lose temp that fast

    This isn't a problem that's just intel's boost method and the heat of the 12900k. Also I hate to say it but I don't think any cooler (apart from LN2) can tame the beast

    ImPruhVise got a reaction from silencer12 in Pre-Built MSI Computer SSD died.   
    Update: Drive was dead. Local tech guy installed it into his system and could not detect anything. We installed a new SDD and installed windows 11 and it’s working great now. MSI used a cheaper ssd and I see on new egg another person had ssd issues as well.
