    So the short story is that I've never own a desktop pc for gaming and I've never built one so in December I decided to go for it. Now I'll be updating all day how things go and how is working even tho that just for now I'm not gonna start cuz in working.
     
    SPECS: 
    Asus Rog B350-F Gaming 
    Ryzen 7 2700X
    Hyper 212 EVO
    Corsair Vengance 16GB RAM DDR4
    Kingston 240GB SSD
    1 TB HD
    Nvidia RTX 2070 8GB 
    750w EVGA Power Supply
    Corsair 200R.
     
    It will be running on Windows 10 pro.

    I managed to make it work, and didn't have to RMA the board. In the future I'm going to avoid Corsair products in general, not the first time they've left me high and dry.
     
    Basically, I couldn't boot past 2133Mhz with the second slot filled (I have 4x8), I eventually reflashed and reset the BIOS, tried all kinds of configs, and then eventually got it to boot at 2666Mhz. Then set DRAM voltage for 2.5v and DRAM frequency to 3000Mhz and got a POST. Still takes over 15 seconds to clear POST, but my mobo runs and my RAM isn't slow.

    Good choices but ill say you can probably use the cooler that came with the cpu if you want.
