    I'm partnered with a local theatre group and the want to do a giveaway as a promotion of the show. They want to do a golden ticket drawing. I have zero website development knowledge. Im currently playiong around with it but how would i keep track of IP addresses to keep from re entrys occuring? The IPs are the only thing thats confusing me because i think i just figured out how to run the generator code. If someone could leave suggestions on how to do it or maybe a link to a good resource? Any assistance will be helpful. Ill add edits to this post as i get more info on this project. Thank you! EDIT: Please add anything that might help but the project might be getting called off.

    Thank you for the suggestions! This put me on the right track. Last night I almost got a 550D with a lens but I was outbid at the last second. I’m now watching a few T3Is and 60d’s. I also found a good lens to buy and I’m just waiting a bit to actually buy it.

    Other than the GPU this build is good for 3D modeling. If you plan on doing gaming you should look into more consumer grade cards I run a i5-8600k and a GTX 1060 and it handles Inventor Fusion and Solidworks amazingly. I’m guessing the modeling you do is a bit more hard core than what I do. But other than the GPU that build would work fine.

    I want to get into DSLR photography to up my Insta game and to get into photo editing. I don’t want a basic beginner camera though. I want to be able to play with settings and learn. I don’t mind if a camera is used or a few years old but I don’t have that much money. Nor do I want to spend $600 on something I’ll be able to use twice a month if possible. I’ve had a look around but there are too many companies for me to just go in without suggestions. The one thing that is a must have is 1080p/30. Other than that If anyone could leave suggestions on how to do this on this extreme budget that would be great!

    Before i spend $100 on fans i want to see if anyone has tried this. the front and top panels aren't very RGB friendly so i was looking to know if it would be worth it to spend the money on a fun but useless feature. If it isnt that possible to see the RGB through the holes does anyone have fan recommendations?. the case only came with one crappy looking fan.

    This year I am the director of my high schools show and we have been talking about putting the band in the band room during the show and pushing the sound out into the auditorium. The problem we are having is the cast on stage needs to see the conductor. So a show I saw on broadway recently had TV's Mounted to the balcony and a live feed to a camera pointed at the conductor who was in a different part of the theatre. Does anyone have any ideas on a cheap way to replicate this? Like can I do video over Ethernet? I don't think HDMI can go the 300 ft we will need it to go. If it can then I think I have it figured out but I would prefer a cheaper option that's easy to set up every year.

    I got a summer job this year and i was going to use the money to build a computer for VR. I have a little over $400 currently and want to start building it. I can use my current PSU and case. But the real question is can i re-use my Radeon HD 7700 with the Ryzen 1600? Will it be a huge bottle neck or can i still play the few light games that i can play now? I can wait (My parent probably will make me wait until i have everything saved) but i was just interested to see how bad my Graphics card is.

    I want to enter and I have ideas. But I have an FX-4150 and a msi radeon 7700. I can barely edit 1080p Video from my phone. My computer is a space heater at idle. And a jet engine playing minecraft. To make it better im still in highschool and school starts September 6th... The day in the post says September 7th... RIP me

    If you upgraded to Win10 from a previous windows version delete the windows.old folder it houses your old windows install

    Or i also have a 3tb drive lying around that I cant sell. Can i just transfer all of my data ( Windows files and all) to that and just go with one drive until I can get the raid back up?

    So I'm kindof new to the PC building world but I'm experienced enough to have built 3 computers so far. But my issue is my main rig has a really bad Gigabyte mother board so i was wondering if i could just buy a new one and swap everything else back in. I have Windows 10 and a raid config would a new mother board screw anything up?
