  5. My NAS is running 8TB raid 0 on an Intel atom CPU and 4GB ram just fine. If you want to run a Plex server on it then get a better CPU.
  6. You could try making disk images (iso files) of the DVDs on the other computer and mount them using Daemon-tools on your file server.

  13. Could be voltage spikes in the PSU Keep you side panel of and next time you PC freezes listen to see if the buzzing is coming from the PSU
