  1. Hi - I already have a working AM4 pc with a Ryzen 5800x and an x570 motherboard, i recently bought some slightly better ram for it, some 3600mhz 32gb CAS 16 DDR4 Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM, manufacturer code: CMK32GX4M2D3600C16 Here is where i bought it from if it helps (UK website) https://www.scan.co.uk/products/32gb-2x16gb-corsair-ddr4-vengeance-lpx-black-pc4-28800-3600-non-ecc-unbuffered-cas-16-19-19-36-xmp-2 However now it has arrived i noticed it only mentions Intel support on the box itself. My question is - if i put this ram into my x570 motherboard will i get the speeds advertised? or will it only work at a slower speed? I realise this might be a silly question but i just want someone to answer my question without giving me a meme response like on reddit - get a different brand ram, get an intel mobo etc. Not sure what other info is needed but i will be happy to provide incase i have forgotten something. Any help is welcome thankyou. Budget: Already Purchased Country: United Kingdom Any help is welcome thankyou.
  2. they should just go all in and try this setup with no heatsink on the CPU at all, see if the CPU survives
  3. the thing that suprised me was how laggy the steam store loading screen was, reminded me of the original ps3 psn store or the nintendo switch online store loading, still excited for it though as i know these issues will be resolved
  4. Hi, i recently came across the nice hash video LTT after watching the norton crypto LTT video and for whatever reason it made me interested in giving nice hash a go, but at the end of the video linus mentioned how important it is to have a crypto wallet, so i had a look and i have no clue what to look for, what is good etc. Its important to note that i have never mined before - so i would most likely be using NiceHash (on an AMD GPU - they recently released an AMD version of their quickhash linus mentioned in the video), so im just looking for a decent budget crypto wallet, or tips on what to look for etc, im in the UK if that is important. Any Help is useful thankyou
  5. doesnt work for me either, maybe we are being trolled because i remember the video that was referenced in on ltt
  6. whats the laptop Linus shows at 8:36 in the video?
  7. the timing of this in relation to the steam deck announcement is kind of fantastic in a way, might boost the viewing figures. Also its Anthony and who doesnt love Anthony!?
  8. i just saw the 10 at the start, and i have never quoted a big image before, dont know if you are implying i have done it before or not.
  9. since im not from america and i always forget USA puts the month first for some reason i thought the CPU announcement was gonna be tomorrow, gutted when i realised it was the american date system
  10. but that is still not a budget TV. thats like saying a ferrari 488 is budget compared to the LaFerrari, its still alot of money regardless. If they worded it bang for the buck or something like that i wouldnt have an issue, but calling it budget is simply misleading.
  11. on what planet is $2000 considered cheap? i know Linus is a wealthy man but come on, that is NOT a cheap tv, i dont care what specs are in the thing. that is at least a mid range tv, its not even in the same galaxy as a 'budget' tv
  12. what is the laptop shown at 7:37 which alex is using? looks pretty good
  13. anyone remember the AMD FX 9590? that bulldozer based CPU that had a 220w TDP? the media (checkout young Linus here unboxing and overviewing it ) the tech community crucified AMD for having such a high TDP rating, and now Intel is doing the same thing. And that isnt even taking into account how AMD and Intel rate their TDP's differently (basically AMD's is max, Intel's is not). There is no black magic with these new CPU's, under sustained load they are basically undervolting it to hit that 125w TDP. Also side note, he talks about PCIE Gen 4 support with Gigabyte, that should not be part of a review for someone buying it today when even Intel hasn't confirmed that, all rumours. 2nd side note, why didnt he include the AMD Ryzen R9 3950X in the comparison? wouldnt that be flagship vs flagship? arent the prices simillar? If i have any of that wrong i apologise but there is alot of dubious things in the review (just watched that as well so i figured i should include it)
  14. The RX 480 8GB is a very good option here, either way you are getting a very good card no matter which one you choose
  15. technically there is no reason why it wont work, but i wouldnt recommend it personally, it just seems wrong somehow. what i would suggest is waiting 1 more month, Samsung is going to release their 960 Pro & Evo NVME (M.2) SSD's, this could potentially have an impact on pricing, they will be much faster than the T3, but it might have a knock on effect in pricing, hopefully you find something useful here
