Hi all, So my friend is getting a new PC and he has everything sorted apart from the OS. However, I happen to have a copy of Windows 7 which I was going to give him, but there is a problem, the version is from April 2011 or 2012 (I'm not sure which one) and he has an extremely weak and slow internet connection due to where he lives so downloading all the updates (including SP1 which is huge) would take days, so I was wondering if there would be any way to take the Windows 7 updates from my PC (which are the latest) and put them on an external drive and install them on his PC somehow so he doesn't have to download them. If I can't take them from my PC does anyone know of a website where I could download them all in one big bundle or something and put them on the external drive? Any insight on this would be greatly obliged as it would be a real inconvenience to have to download GB's worth of updates on an extremely slow connection (I think it is 2Mb/s or something like that). I have everything except the CPU, so that's including a Z77 mobo as well and the budget would be around £135/$220

Hi all, So I'm building my friend a new PC and I am all set on everything apart from one part, the processor. I was planning on getting him a i5-3330 but I was wondering if this will still deliver a lot of performance in AAA games at maximum settings? He will also have a MSI GTX 770 Gaming OC Edition and 8GB of Kingston HyperX memory. So do you think this CPU is suitable and will pack a lot of punch? Thanks.

I'm so glad to see some kind of hint that it's coming! Never thought I would say that talking about a Fallout game because when I first played Fallout I was new to the whole RPG genre and didn't understand the concept of it. Basically I got lost on my way to Megaton (yes you read that right) and was chased by a Mirelurck across the entire wasteland with only a 10mm pistol which had no ammo, so I sworn hatred to the game. Now I'm rocking t-51b with a gatlin laser. F you mirelurck.

I really don't think 8K would do gaming much good. Let's face it, the 8K panel manufacturers are going to be making 50+ inch panels for 8K, no one will be making a 24 inch panel for PC's and also, the hardware we would require to run 8K smoothly is not coming anytime soon

That's an upgrade charge if you already have an older version of OSX. I don't think you can buy OSX separate from a Mac.

Hi all, As some of you may know, the official Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 update got rolled out in to Europe about 4 days ago. I still haven't received my update yet and I was wondering if anyone here has (specifically if anyone in the UK has) and does anyone know how long it can take to receive these updates after they've been rolled out? Please note that this update has only been rolled out for the international GT-I9505 version of the phone, so people in the US who bought it on a carrier you will have to wait a little bit longer. Hi all, So pretty much as the title says, what are the quietest fans you know of, but still give out really good performance, are bequiet! any good? I would be looking for some 120mm and 140mm fans.
