Only for my DnD characters (fantasy name generators/specific race generators) My username and character name that I use in games (Khoire) both were given to me by my older sister when she helped me create an account for a game many years ago, and it just stuck around since. Sometimes, I make twists off my name, like using a different language equivalent to my name, or translating it literally and translating that to another language.

What are Some of Your More Unusual Collections?

I like keeping boxes of tech I buy, though I think this is a p common practice? -
Yeah, my friend had his credit card info stolen after buying something off G2A, so definitely shady.
-
Ah, my teacher used books meant for students in China, rather than foreign language books, that might've been why.

I mean if you read the latter part, "The rules banned throttling but had an exception for "reasonable network management"", and at the time the FCC chair didn't allow throttling just because of the data cap, but rather if they exceeded the data cap AND were in a congested area. Granted there was no official ruling on it, but it would have prevented this scenario, as there would have been no reason for them to throttle the fire department and claim "congestion" while another personal device was fine.
-
Yeah, but also under emergency situations, the throttle should have been lifted. In addition, they continued throttling after the billing cycle reset, which is unreasonable. The argument for net neutrality was how you can throttle unlimited plans to alleviate congestion in areas, but now after the restrictions were lifted, they can throttle anyone's plan at any time they wish (which is where the high-speed data cap comes in). At least that's how they explained it in the latter half of this article (https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2018/08/fire-dept-rejects-verizons-customer-support-mistake-excuse-for-throttling/)

Dent on plastic pole for a poster, how to fix it?
highwolf_x replied to DrThots's topic in Off Topic
I thought it looked familiar. I actually have the same one, but it's in print and is framed, bought it at AX: (and it's Schwi/Shuvi, get it right ) -

You could try applying heat via hair dryer (or heat gun), but I feel that it would bend the plastic too easily and possibly deform it more. Rn is prolly the best you'll get, unless you change out the pole completely. On a slightly unrelated note, what wall scroll is it? :3 -
Hey, I don't work at dbrand

In all seriousness though, there are so many loan words in Japanese. In addition, they like shortening them, so you get things like "sumafo" which is short for "sumaatofon" (smartphone).

to-mah-to Then you get Hong Kong English where it's Asian-English (as in British) sounding English.
