  1. So I'm relatively new to foobar, I've been using it for about 8 months now with no problem, but I must've done something wrong because one day it stopped recognizing tons of songs and folders in the directory that I use. For reference I mainly use facets and organize all my songs by folders, starting with the artist and then their individual albums. When I go to the directory that my music is in in file explorer, all the songs show up as they should, but in foobar it shows only 1 or 2 of the dozens of songs in that file, and in some cases it doesn't even show the file. Some example screenshots are below showing a folder in foobar that clearly has less songs than the same folder when viewed in file explorer. I'm at my wit's end and I really don't know what to do, I've reinstalled foobar several times, I've restarted my computer, I've changed the main directory to something else and tried putting music in there and the same issue still comes back. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Just build my first custom keyboard, very happy with the result Link to full imgur album: http://imgur.com/a/X5xGEnM Build specs: - GK64X case & PCB, foam modded - Included stabs clipped and lubed with krytox 205g0 and dielectric grease and band-aid modded - Boba U4Ts lubed with krytox 205g0 (not the legs) - YMDK PBT black on white keycaps with blank colour mods from WASD keyboards - Aviator cable is custom from Etsy - mstone acrylic 60% keyboard cover (my room gets very dusty) - Orcas 60% wrist rest
  3. So I was just wondering, the Logitech G710+ use a standard key layout, but there is a problem. On the keys that need stabilizers (eg. space bar, shift) instead of having a traditional wire, it has two other cherry MX stems that are just plastic (Are not wired to the PCB). I just want to replace all the keycaps but this method of stabilization seems to be a proprietary method. I fear that if I put regular keycaps on there, they will wobble like crazy. I just want to know if there are keycap sets out there that are compatible with this, and If not, ill just replace the alphanumeric keys and call it a day.
  4. More cores is a MUST for 3d rendering. Get a midrange Xeon and a Quadro. In the future, you could upgrade to a even better Xeon (Like that 22 core 44 thread BEAST)
  5. Yeah, that case is fine. I don't think you'll encounter any issues but I can't be sure. Pretty sure though.
  6. Hey just to anyone reading, including mods and/or staff, In the wan show the nerd sport ep.1 url was leaked and now is out there for those who want to see it. Obviously this was done by accident, but just and FYI for the future. @Slick @colonel_mortis @LinusTech @Blade of Grass
  7. super late response but I now DEFINATLY suggest a 1440p screen AND get one that is 120hz or higher (Or G-sync)
  8. if you have two 1080's or a titan xp than go for 4k, but if not, stick with 1440p for gaming and 4k for video editing and other productivity. Or just run 4k on less demanding games and 1440p on more demanding ones.
  9. Unscrew everything at the back, you will need to buy the ifixit pro tech tool kit as you will need to pop of the monitor bezel.
  10. ah crap, maybe one of their ASUS ones will work for your monitor? It's asus too. Or contact them directly and ask for advice.
  11. PS a 5400rpm drive is slow, so heres a great 2TB 7400RPM drive and 120gb ssd https://www.amazon.com/Seagate-BarraCuda-3-5-Inch-Internal-ST2000DM006/dp/B01IEKG402/ref=sr_1_1?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1478826618&sr=1-1&keywords=2tb+hdd https://www.amazon.com/ADATA-Premier-SP550-120GB-ASP550SS3-120GM-C/dp/B013J7PP96/ref=sr_1_7?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1478826648&sr=1-7&keywords=120gb+ssd
  12. https://www.ifixit.com/Device/Display Heres the site, find your monitor
  13. I would STRONGLY suggest not getting either of those as some games take up 60+gb, and 8gb or 32gb is barely enough for anything, let alone games. I suggest buying a 2TB drive for mass storage, a 240gb SSD for your OS, and finally, buy a cheap 120gb SSD and set it up as a cache for you 2TB HDD. Here's a guide on how to do so GUIDE: http://www.overclock.net/t/1227655/how-to-set-up-intel-smart-response-technology-ssd-caching I know this is for an older gen, but it should still be fundamentally the same.
  14. I don't understand how an ant got in there, if its under your polarizing filter, you won't be able to get it out without ruining your monitor. If it's not under the filter, you might be in luck. Check on iFixit's website for a monitor teardown guide. I'm sorry man, I don't know what to say.
