Hey I have a question in an area where I really don't know what I'm talking about. I see Kabylake can decode 10bit HEVC, what does that mean? I can currently play HEVC 265 8 bit media with out it, but will watching hevc 265 10bit media require Kabylake? Lastly, what is the difference between 8 bit and 10 bit in encoding? and will HDR require Kabylake?

I see people mentioning that they would have preferred it to have HBM 2.0 memory, but would it have made that big of a difference? It's got 10 gigs of GDDR5X and they probably had a reason to stick with that, as they are capable of using HBM if they wanted, no? Nontheless holy cow that's one beast of a card lol. The best card I ever used or owned is my current 750 ti ftw and this makes it look like ant fodder

I'm currently using a Nvidia EVGA 750 TI FTW 2 GB DDR5 and it's just not quite cutting it anymore, and recently switching from FHD to QHD gaming surely didn't help the FPS, while the rest of my PC has some pretty good parts, I honestly made a mistake in not investing in a good graphics card and so here I am, one of these two cards would finish my PC build, I can only hope! The Polaris cards will deliver me full QHD gaming and more, HDMI 2.0b HDR, and maybe win my love? Simply the final perfect piece...GL !!!1
