  1. I just got started on this, I've upgraded my account, but when I go to the quotas page, there are no Compute Engine APIs listed, and searching for GPU under Service or Metric comes up empty. Does anyone have any ideas on what I need to do at this part?
  2. I was just about to ask the same question, but mine was a simpler answer, as I am running DDR3 still on my Z170 motherboard, so the expense is just too much for such a minor upgrade. Plus I'm still gaming at 1080p, so...
  3. It fully depends on where you live, in the USA, it's legal in some states, and not in others.
  4. I'd look for workstation laptops with Xeon processors, rather than desktop i7 processors, ThinkPad has some Laptops that you can get a Xeon in.
  5. I just had a friend reach out to me about whether or not to buy the Rift now. My standardized answer is that unless you hand me a free one (Or near free, under $100), it's really not worth it not to wait a couple of years for the 2nd gen at this point. Right now the main game that interests me in VR is Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes, but I've got that on my Gear VR (which I did get free), so I am content to wait.
  6. Well, I sold my GTX 1070 when the prices were high, I'll either wait for something good that is used to become available to replace my RX 460 4GB, or I might just wait for next gen nVidia cards.
  7. For the Stapping issue, you want to go into Settings - System - Multitasking, to disable it. Not sure about the issue of switch screens, to have the mouse line up
  8. I would be interested System Specs: i5-6600K GTX 1070 16GB of RAM 480GB SSD 1TB HDD
  9. I'm planning on getting the Z5 Compact, I'll have paid off my Galaxy S4 in Feburary, and I was planning on the Z3 Compact. I'm really glad that the compact line got an upgrade.
  10. You can get it with only 1 extra monitor for cheaper.
  11. With switching from Laptop gaming to Desktop gaming I could really use a Wired Mouse instead of the Microsoft 3500 that I've been using for it's mobility.
  12. I am in the US on T-Mobile, so almost all unlocked phones will work. I do require LTE since I plan on using it as a temporary ISP replacement since I'm moving soon. I don't want to spend more than $400 on the phone if possible. Right now I'm using a Samsung Glalaxy S4, and it's just too big for me, and I don't use the screen real estate. I'm worried at this point that my next phone will have to be the One Plus.* or Zenfone 2, because they are 5.5" phones, but they are the best bang for the buck right now.
  13. My only real issue with doing Tech support for my family, is when I tell them not to use a solution. (Super cheap wireless keyboard, wireless HDMI, etc...) they then get annoyed with them and then come complaining to me about their problems. (I'm not sure if this makes it worse or better, but my dad was an up-to-date techie in 2005, however he's way out of date now.)
