  1. when I watched the video on that thing. it was supposed to revolutionize everything! we're still using the same stuff and I don't see this anywhere it's been 2 damn years I was too hyped
  2. Thermo siphoning new heatpipe technology never seen before in the PC market cooling space!!!1111 very impressive numbers from a relatively small unit!!!!111 beating a 360mm rad!! coming soon!! where the hell is this thing? Linus made a YouTube video about this thing and I've kept coming back to check if there's anything new. i've seen very little on the internet about this. Not even Gamers nexus. what the hell! where is this thing!!! if gamers nexus didn't review it then it doesn't exist that's a fact says it's for sale on their site.
  3. How much is a 5700xt actually worth? people on ebay are selling it for 700-1000 dollars it's STOOPID If it's really worth that much I want to sell mine etheruem mining with this card is insanely good though. at today's etheruem price you can make 240 dollars a month if I remember correctly. at 52 mh/s
  4. 240hz to 360 is noticable. I would guess our eyes are at least 400hz
  5. Well I don't know if I can directly help you, But I can tell you my situation and maybe it's helpful. I have a Ryzen 5 3600 b450 tomahawk max, 16gb ddr4 rx 5700xt 730watt thermaltake smart se that I bought in 2014. it's bronze rated and it was very cheap at the time. every since I upgraded from my old gtx 960 i5 system i got random shutdowns, freezes, choppy gameplay, all sorts of problems. my pc crashes 3 - 5 times a day. I've been living this sad life for 7 months now. and finally I bought a new power supply. I bought a platinum 860w fractal design. it's gonna take a month till I can receive it but I'm fairly certain it's the power supply at this point. Like I've tried everything, I've tried using 2 seperate cables to feed my graphics card instead of 1, plugging my pc directly to the wall instead of the power strip, underclocking, I put my pc in 5c weather to eliminate the heat as an option. I did a clean install of windows 3 times now, used 10 different versions of the driver. you name it dude. So yeah I think it's your power supply. You don't have to buy an expensive one like I did, a 600watt is defenitely enough. even a 500 watt. If you don't plan on upgrading any time soon. Get a high quality one that's at least 500watts. I recommend you check out the PSU Tier list here on the Linus forum. It's great. My Thermaltake power supply doesn't exist on it and I bet yours doesn't too. That's why they are hot garbage lol
  6. Great information. Very helpful. I now know that this power supply is bad and I should have bought it but I've used it for 7 years now lol. I love the PSU Tier list 3.0 the old one. Very helpful!
  7. Hmm. great point about ultra settings. I wonder why they do that? Is that like a trend with games? Sounds stupid
  8. Dude decreasing the voltages helped a lot I've been testing for 2 hours now with lower voltages and so far much better results. I'm gonna update you
  9. I'm sorry guys but, I'm bad at memory overclocking. I just try to follow what people recommend.
  10. Thank you all so much for the help. Should I start with a higher voltage right off the bat, like maybe SOC 1.1v Dram 1.45v VDDG CCD/IOD at 1.05 so that I can get the most stability and reduce them later on when I get a half way decent overclock? I tried it, it worked at 3200 pretty fine, but even at 3266 it was much less stable, I put it back to 3200 then I reduced TCL to 14 and it also worked, but also much less stable. I know because every time I put a not so stable ram overclock I can hear the memory errors when I listen to music while gaming I can immediately tell. I have the voltages at 1.45, Soc is 1.12, VDDG CCD & IOD at 1.05 these voltages seem pretty high already, how much higher can I even go with that is voltages. I don't think a lot. So I'm basically capable of running 3200 16 16 16, even that is not the most stable setup. So what do I do now? Do I give up on ram OC? I don't see what is left for me to do honestly. Maybe you know what I can do. Thank you
  11. I bought the expensive ram because it's higher quality and it's supposed to have tighter timings at the suitable ryzen ram ckockspeed of 3200-3800mhz Hmm. Please tell me more, about MCLK. I found a setting that said 1:1 or 1:2 with memclk but I couldn't find MCLK itself. What is MCLK Is it the same as the main frequency? I posted images of my settings
  12. Basically I was trying to overclock my ram right, hoping I can get 3800mhz with fclk 1900mhz but that's ambitious. Pc doesn't even post at 3600mhz fclk 1800 at all. It posts at higher dram frequency like 1800 but without the fclk at anymore than 1733. I'm running it at 2666mhz which is the default I also have the loose default timings that I'll provide a screenshot of everything set in the bios. TLDR I have the cpu at stock everything. I tried increasing the soc voltage to 1.12v and the dram to 1.45v and the vddg ccd/iod voltages both at 1.05v but still I can't get an fclk to run at 1733 MHz stable. It posts though. At 1766 it doesn't post .I'm gonna post screenshots of my ram timings in the bios in the original post for you just a second
  13. No its 4133mhz ram. That's the xmp, but I'm running it at 2666mhz which is the default I also have the loose default timings that I'll provide a screenshot of everything set in the bios. TLDR I have the cpu at stock everything. I tried increasing the soc voltage to 1.12v and the dram to 1.45v and the vddg ccd/iod voltages both at 1.05v but still I can't get an fclk to run at 1733 MHz stable. It posts though. At 1766 it doesn't post. I'm gonna edit the post in a sec and post the pictures
  14. Have you seen gamers nexus benchmark of rdr2? TLDW: I think you have to set an fps limiter to something like 100 or maybe 120. Not sure about it. It's easy to try anyway Here's the video. Your cpu experiences a bug in the Rockstar engine that causes it to have stuttering. Not low fps though. So it might not be the same issue. From what I can tell you're only getting 10 fps slower than you expect? Did you try turning off shadow play? Sorry If I'm confusing
  15. I've been told probably any ryzen cpu is capable of fclk at 1800mhz easily. Good chips get to 1900 or maybe 1933 if you're very lucky My pc doesn't post at anything above 1767 MHz on the fclk. And it can't get into windows at anything above 1733 on the fclk. This seems very bizarre and ridiculous. Even at that it's not completely stable. Thank you My pc: ryzen r5 3600 B450 tomahawk max Adata 4133mhz 19 19 19 b die Rx 5700xt
  16. I have a 4133mhz c 19 19 19 b die kit, a tomahawk max b450, an r5 3600 and i'm trying to overclock my ram. The fclk doesn't go above 1733mhz at all. at 1766 it posts but doesn't make it into windows. Also, if i'm not blind, i don't know where the UCLK clocks are lol. I tried the dram calculator, even at "3466 safe preset" it's very unstable, to the point where the audio in the computer glitches. I have the voltages pretty high, cuz i'm trying to get anything good to run. soc at 1.12, dram voltage at 1.45, the two vddg voltages at 1.05 I've been told that I need to increase the soc voltage but it seems already pretty high, I haven't overclocked the cpu, and i'm thinking i need to do that to get a stable ram overclock am i the unluckiest person ever who can't even run f*cking 3466 with a 1:1 coupling to the FCLK stable? I got the "3200mhz fast" preset running pretty well, haven't tested it in mem test though. help thanks
  17. It worked. God bless you. Such a life saver. I just went to the drive. deleted all the partitions. and vWALA. it showed up!!!!
  18. I bought a 240gb WD Green M.2 SSD and it shows up in the bios but not in windows i was dum enough to throw away the packaging so i can't return it now. i want to use it when i go to initialize it in disk management it simply doesn't show up i tried Windows Memory Diagnostic and it didn't work my pc: i5 4460 MSI Gaming 3 h97 2x8gb ddr3 AMD RX 5700xt 730 watt thermaltake
