  1. You can't really go wrong with a x99 if you have the money. And some of the things you're doing like VM or 3D animation will benefit lots from it. If you need to save though, I'd say get the z170 and cut down on some prices.
  2. Maybe it came from a backup software? Do you have any on your system?
  3. You could just add on wireless card like this one if the mobo you choose doesn't have one: https://www.amazon.com/300Mbps-802-11b-Wireless-Adapter-Desktop/dp/B008N6F3MI
  4. If you want to go as high end possible and have money to spend go for a x99 mobo, i7 6950x, x4 gtx980ti sli kingpin or 2 1080 sli, with custom dual loop with overkill fans and radiators, and play on ultrawide monitors.
  5. the water cooling will be my future upgrades since that part alone will cost lots. So until then the AIO will fill in. and wouldn't it be better to run x16/x16 than x8/x8? And if there isn't any performance degradation, I guess it doesn't matter since Nvidia doesn't seem to want to support 3 and 4 way sli anymore. with 28 lanes and a x16/x8 i guess i can add in a pcie ssd with the 4 lanes. also, would a 750 really be sufficient with all the overclock and such.. with 18 fans and 2 pumps? I think I'm going to get a 1000W instead of the 1200W
  6. well i guess if you're looking for something to use while driving, you'd go more for more comfort and fit than sound quality or anything. I havn't tried those but reviews seem to leave a positive message. It's honestly all personal preference and gambling.
  7. I personally dp not like the jaybirdz x2 falls out really well and arnt comfortable at all. I even changed the eartips. I think the best I've used were bose qc20 but not bluetooth..
  8. m.2 speed: reading- 2500mb/s writing- 1500 mb/s PCIe Intel speed: reading- 2200mb/s writing: 900mb/s where's your source? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167359 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147467
  9. pumps and 2 res for mainly looks and tiny performance. Fills up the 900D nicely. The cooling system is an overkill but I think it's going to look amazing and keep everything super chill. Maybe I'll tone down the psu a bit actually but probably going to upgrade more in the future and might as well stay with a nice one without a limit. and well I guess you can say that about any expensive builds... That's not really a good reason to trigger the warning. I think I would benefit from the 40 lanes than be limited to the 28 lanes. I'd probably have more crap to add onto to hog the lanes. Yeah storage shouldn't be an issue I'll add some HDD laying around as raid 0 and pop in some SSDs later. I actually just went with 32gb to upgrade into 64. I will do quite a bit of rendering and editing huge photos and running virtual machines so ram is good Yeah that's why I'm going to get a second 1080 once I get more money to blow! I was going to go for a 4k but I don't think it's worth the value right now.
  10. Reposting because moderator unfairly deleted my post in 5 minutes before I can even edit the post after looking at the replies. The items in the custom section are my planned future upgrades once I get more money for the build. Please comment your opinions and suggestions. It will be used for work/gaming so multipurpose use. Overclocking to the max. To mod: just because my name is trololzz doesnt mean its a troll post. Its my league name so I just used it here. http://pcpartpicker.com/list/7qf9JV
