Not bad considering my PC has been on at least 16 hours a day since Christmas of last year and I have never cleaned it. Single front intake and CPU/PSU exhausts. Though I had to flip the fan to make it an intake because if my mom gets me a 1050Ti for my birthday like she promised (as a do-over from getting screwed over last year) this dinky heatsink will not be happy sucking out all that extra heat.

I can't help but feel part of my secret is a file server (read: repurposed old daily in an Enthoo Pro with drives shoved in) that filters the air reasonably well, but even then the rest of my room gets pretty damn dusty. Also OptiPlex 7010 DFF (as listed in profile specs).

No, just an 80mm fan with their annoying-ass modified version of a PWM header. Mine was acting as an exhaust but if I end up getting a 1050Ti for my birthday the dinky heatsink will not cope well with the heat from that as well as what my 3770 is dumping into it (it had trouble just keeping up with the 3770 before the 7570 even got started).

Yeah I'm very well aware that they exist... Not like I need one to adapt a stock fan.

I'll send you a couple 100mm sljm fans if you want.  Just pay shipping

Already have a 70mm fan I can double-sided tape to the sidepanel by the graphics card if I absolutely need it. Quick test run with some neodymium magnets showed really good results on the ol' 7570 (went from low 70's to low 60s at 5v).

Well first off cutting the case up is obviously idiotic because if I wanted to get "normal" parts I would have gotten the larger (and cheaper) variant of the 7010.

And second, of course it does. If I had to install a fan I'd just buy a SATA power splitter and hack it up to run the fan off 5v.
