Follow up Status Update with videos on that big explosion in Beirut earlier today. The explosion was apparently caused by chemicals which were stored in a Warehouse in the port:

the worst part about it, is that it was 100% preventable, if they just took better care of the nitrate and stored it properly thing would have been much better

You know it's a powerful explosion when it literally clears the sky of clouds.
I was reading apparently those chemicals had been sitting there since 2013~2014? Like, why?
Unrelated but related I'm annoyed by the fact I can't remember what that white pressure wave is called or what it is exactly. Suspended debris? Water mist like a cloud? I'm not sure.
