  1. I replaced my phanteks fans and h100i fans with af120 fans. I agree with @bgibbz, there were no real changes in thermals however the build is almost dead silent. If the noise bothers you that much like my build was very loud and I use open headphones, go for it.
  2. I used to have some serious anger issues but I outgrew them a while back. Find a creative outlet for all that pent up rage. I personally developed a deep passion for music and started playing really extreme metal. Find a sport or hobby and use your anger to drive you forward in life. Trust me, you'll be much happier in your everyday and much better off in the end.
  3. The connections should be 3 pin. Follow the instructions on page 23 of the manual. (http://www.phanteks.com/assets/manuals/PH-EC416P_Western.pdf)
  4. For recording you would need a quieter switch. Reds, browns, or silent switches would be your best bet and stay away from blues. See if any store has them on display and go and test out a few keyboards with different switches.
  5. I know that ASUS has a card with a decent amount of LED's. MSI's gaming series cards have red leds on the front and an rgb logo on the top, but the Z cards have a backlit logo on the backplate. EVGA and Gigabyte cards also have a few leds.
  6. I play with 2 other people. Were lvls 18 - 25 but one of us is around 130 on PS4 so he understands the game very well. We would love more people to play with so we dont have to deal with the randoms that for some reason 1 in every 5 games we get a full team of Genji's.
  7. Have you tried turning the PSU so the fan faces downwards? If his case has a cutout for a PSU outtake, rotate it and try again.
  8. Make your own. Get a set of actual headphones and get a modmic and attach the mic to whichever side you want. "Gaming" headsets are usually just marketing and not very good with a few exceptions, one being the clouds. Get a Superlux 668B and put the modmic on the left side. Boom, better setup than any "gaming" headset and fully customizable.
  9. Also a ton of the people that work at best buy dont actually know much about tech and you can easily fool them into giving you crazy deals with the price match. The thing is your also less likely to get hired at best buy if you know a lot about tech since your less likely to spread their marketing bullshit to the public.
  10. I would say that its not worth. gaming doesn't use up too much data but YouTube is going to kill you. 4G is meant to be a phone plan and I would say is more that enough for mobile but the second you connect that to a pc its going to be gone very quickly.
  11. I just put my PC in the passenger seat and buckle it in when I take it to uni or LAN parties. The leg area in the back seat also works very well. If you're scared take out any parts that can move around like anything in the pci slots and make sure the hdd is secure but I wouldnt be too worried about it.
  12. I fully understand where their coming from. Its very similar to a patreon subscription. The paying consumers need a reason to pay for free content. This doesn't affect the YouTube audience in anyway. You still get the same flow of videos (new vid everyday) and important, time sensitive videos still get uploaded day one on YouTube. Their a business and they need to make money to support themselves and the company.
  13. Amazon. Amazon a thousand times. No complaints, they always pull through and every inconvenience on your end comes from their own pockets which is so nice in this day and age. Pre-paid shipping, replacement products without even requiring proof of damage on very expensive items. Origin. EA gets a ton of hate but I would fully switch from steam to them in the blink of an eye if they had every game. I have had support agents attempt to solve my problem for hours once. They once told me there was a problem that couldn't be solved on the weekends but the agent got her manager to give permission to complete the action on the spot. Gave me access to old games when I told them I had old cd keys lying around, just asked if they would work. With no prove even asked for they just added the games to my library. Heard a story of someone asking for a few extra trial hours for BF4 until his next paycheck when he would pay for it fully, they game him like 7000 trial hours added.
  14. Just contact amazon. They have very good support. They'll give you a pre paid shipping label for free and replace the chair immediately. You said it yourself, you cant open it till your birthday so you still have some time to get this sorted out.
  15. Go to file in the top left, click on settings. Go to the downloads tab. There should be an option to scan hdd or locate library. Scan the location of the game. If all else fails, just wait for the game to download.
  16. No, in the settings or properties menu, there should be a large amount of tabs with all the steam settings listed in there
  17. Not at my PC right now but I had a similar situation. Had shit internet and told friend to download all my games. Went to the settings and in the library tab (i believe) there is an option to detect games or scan library or something. Make sure that the game is also in your steam > steamapps > common folder too.
  18. You can tell steam to download the game or there is an option to detect games on your hdd and it will add automatically.
  19. I got GTA V but havent played online since it came out on the 360. Steam is in my signature.
  20. Depends on the product, not all products ship everywhere. They usually send you a prepaid return label to send your faulty hardware back for free. They'll let you know before you pay for it, this item does not ship to X location.
  21. Download DDU and uninstall the drivers, then perform a clean reinstall of the most recent drivers from AMD's website.
