  1. SSD are still really expensive nowadays, hard drives are still good and will still be good in the future. Remember that my dad, all his life he worked for a big tech company and he used to back up ALL his data on cassette tapes, yes, CASSETTE TAPES! Like not the ones that you think, the consumer grade ones like the LTO 7. So I imagine the HDD's will last AT LEAST another 50 years because people will still do backups and I recommend you get a HDD, even if you hate them for backups. You can put data on them but be sure the data you put on them is not data that you use everyday. My whole family is still using HDD's BTW, im the ONLY guy that has an SSD and even tho I can see the difference, you can still live with a HDD. But even the SSD looks a little slow, so... next year ill probably upgrade to a NVME SSD just to test out.
  2. What do you mean by that? I don't have a PS4
  3. The 20tb one is better quality and faster
  4. Pick the MSI one if you can, I know it's a little more expensive but it's higher quality and it has a better core clock.
  5. It saids that no Audio devices are installed
  6. Hi all, So my audio on my computer is not working and so I looked at the drivers and they were both there. So I have no clue what I did wrong so I uninstalled both of the drivers and (yes I have two the realtek) installed them again. It didnt work. Then I looked in the computer and it didn't work. I am currently using the optiplex 7010 and it hasnt been working. What else can I do without doing a fresh reinstall of windows and also I have no backup.
  7. Here is the list I managed to pull up. There is a 1060 which you CANNOT SLI in the future so you should get a 480 if that's a problem for less but the performance descreses too. You can run most games at 1080 60fps and in 1440p 35-45fps. No 4K. The Liquid cooler is pricy but its good, it is kinda noisy but you can tell me if you want one quiter then this, its at 37.7 dbA but I can give you one that is about 9dbA at idle but it would be air. The CPU is amazing, it will last you about 3-4 years and the GPU the same. Motherboard is very good it has USB type C if your in that type of thing and im pretty sure that it has USB 3.0 front panel connectors. Not sure if it has onboard memory but not worries you can add a $30 dongle and it will work perfectly, im lower then the budget anyway. Power supply if very good, I don't know whare it lands in the PSU tier chart but it's GOLD+ so it should be good. It has a SSD are you said and a 2tb hard drive. Here you go http://pcpartpicker.com/list/8P6cM8
  8. The prices in europe are INSANE!!!! Do you mind if I make a build for the US pcpartpicker so that I could go to 1150$ maybe?
  9. What games are you playing, you should stay with your 970 if your not playing intensive games like Crisis, its a good card.
  10. Hi all, So have a few questions here because I'm trying to learn this ssl protocol and by my calculation it's the protocol that's helps you do Remote Desktop safely. 1. Do all Remote Desktop applications like team viewer use ssl? If not why not? I mean like it's super secure 2. When your doing ssl from the Linux, can do do it so that you can see the other computers screen because I've only seen people looking through their files and stuff. Thanks
