  1. no, you need the fan controller but you can control it via software according to corsair their website, you would need a lighting node pro for that though, which is a different controller. the stock controller is included in the amazon linked in pcpp. also 1000 watt psu is overkill even if you overclock like crazy.
  2. hd120 can be controlled via corsair link.
  3. that colour scheme is horrendous lol. what i kinda meant was that if they themed it like ROG it would atleast fit in a theme, the way it looks now is going to look really odd no matter where you put it except maybe the trash.
  4. i mean they probably replaced parts of management with AI too, we're at the point where that is becoming common practice with reorganization. another step towards whatever ideological system comes after this.
  5. if they wanted to make it look gamery they should've just followed ROG themeing.
  6. can you imagine the movie gravity but with fastfood. that would be hilarious.
  7. and i never opposed any of those as not gimmicky, only the solution... and i never advocated for scanners on the back... but for scanners on the side of the phone.
  8. this isn't news, its 6 months old.
  9. seriously do not get an fx cpu for gaming, if your focus lies with c4d then sure its better for that but you're buying into an horribly outdated platform with no warranty. if you can i would advice to wait and save up for something in the ryzen lineup. if you really want to upgrade now and you mainly care about c4d then yea fx 8530 is probably the best you're going to find in the consumer market.
  10. this is why you shouldn't get an used fx8350, its reallly bad value.
  11. yea that would be ideal but for some people that would be saving for 6 months if it has to be now, g4560. anything else is just bad value unless its some reallly good deal.
  12. pentium g4560 with a motherboard that has the io you want. you'll probably have money left after that. or you can wait for ryzen r3, they should launch very soon.
  13. they used to work in the kernel fields but apparently that was wrong so it is being fazed out.
  14. honestly this is such a non issue for me. wow a small visual glitch when something moves fast from the bottom of the screen to the top, this will really affect how well i can use my phone /s. its not like its going to influence consuming content in any way as far as i know.
  15. xbox one controller turns itself off after connecting to windows 10, appearantly its a glitch in windows 10. so much for the most stable OS yet as it works perfectly fine with windows 7.

  16. go into the uefi and try to find a stored secure key's menu or something like that, every uefi is different so i have no idea where it will be in your uefi.
  17. it does, you just have to buy the adapter sold by phanteks. tweet/msg their customer support if you want to be sure.
  18. are your secure keys in the uefi removed if you have a uefi bios?
  19. they probably think you're a bot or a catfish or something. that or someone had suspicious access to your account. you're completely at facebooks mercy anyways. if you're lucky you regain access.
  20. its gimmicky because the sensor is impractical behind the screen, not because a bigger screen is gimmicky. and the sensors in the power button from xperia z5 has very little complains about inaccuracy, i don't see anything to support your claims. fingerprint locks aren't meant to be completely foolproof anyways because they are really easy to fool. its meant so not everyone can just unlock it, and that is what it will achieve.
  21. the first 3 pages sorted on last reply are >89% linux. about 3 of them are about chromebooks, 4 about macos, 1 about freeBSD, so 8 of the 75 posts are not about linux kernel based operating systems. they are not necessarily drowned but niche operating systems will get ignored since it generally already takes longer for someone to reply on them since its niche and for a very very specific group of people, very little people know anything about it beyond its existence and some platforms build on it like FreeNAS (topics about freenas get placed under servers and NAS most of the time anyways).
  22. what kind of error do you get? can you use the integrated browser?
  23. that is not meant for port forwarding but for changing firewall rules so it doesn't block traffic going over that port. if you connect to a server, you don't need to port forward. its pretty confusing material i know . what machines are between you and your line outside? are you on a big network such as a corporate network or a school network? those often have firewalls that block your traffic.
