  1. A GTX 1070 would suit you well. CS:GO and Rocket League are pretty light games, but running them at 4K will probably require a GTX 1070 to run smoothly above 60FPS. With a GTX 1060 you would probably end up getting around 45FPS. You might be able to get by with a 1060 for $200-250 but a 1070 would DEFINITELY run those games at that resolution for around $380-430. Happy New Year!
  2. Hey, so I recently purchased a M65 Pro RGB mouse from Corsair to go along with my new K70 RGB Rapidfire Keyboard after completing by build. However, I've been experiencing lag from the mouse when in the Desktop. By lag I mean the mouse responds slowly to my movements. The mouse is unpredictable, the sensitivity is variable. I have the mouse set on 1500 DPI and have tried different DPI's yet the mouse still lags. The lag between me moving the mouse and it responding is about 0.3 seconds and happens only on the desktop being very noticeable. It seems that the mouse is trying to smooth out its motion. Anyone know of a fix for this? I tried plugging the mouse in to other USB ports on my Motherboard (Asus Maximus VIII Formula), and even tried switching it out with another M65 Pro RGB mouse because I bought 2 accidentally. I also tried plugging in a standard Dell Mouse, and that worked perfectly. EDIT: Upon trying the M65 mouse on my workstation laptop, the mouse worked just fine. On this laptop the Corsair Utility Engine (CUE) that controls the RGB lighting of Corsair Peripherals is not installed. Could it be a CUE function overriding a Windows Mouse Function?
  3. OMG ITS AN ENDERMAN. (looks away) -- How do I get to the project window? Sorry, I'm a noob at this at the time.
  4. Just drag in your second clip in a separate layer of the timeline (ex: If main footage is in V1, put facecam on V2 layer). Then change either the size or zoom (haven't used in a while, switched to Premiere, I'm a little rusty) to lower the size of the clip and change the position to put it in the corner or wherever you would like. I assume your creating a gaming video?
  5. Well, I bought the full Adobe CC Suite yesterday, and I'm currently working on a project that has about 3 minutes of footage. I'm pretty new to Premiere so I can easily get lost but understand the basics. Anyways, Today I was editing in the timeline and, meaning to save, accidently pressed CTRL+W instead of CTRL + S, closing my current sequence. I know that the actual sequence must still be in the file, because when I saved it again the file size remained the same, and I'm sure that this accident happens often and there is a way to retrieve the sequence. I'm just having trouble reopening the sequence. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks, FalloutGeek
  6. This is very common with all graphics cards running on Windows machines. You usually see this happen mostly with AMD cards, as their drivers are the most unstable. However, it can happen if your drivers at unstable on NVIDIA cards though it is not as common. Issue should go away soon once NVIDIA patches the driver issues.
  7. Really want to win the Razer Blade in the LTT giveaway, it would be legendary 9_9

    If I did tho :):D xD:o

  8. Hey LTT, Congrats on 3 Million subscribers! I've been watching since you hit the 2 Million mark (#takedatpewdiepie) I finally got it to load to the point where I could post (T_T) As for the giveaway, personally, I would love to win a new Razer Blade (non-stealth). I pick this model over the Stealth because its more gaming oriented with its GTX 1060 desktop class card, 1TB NVMe SSD, 1080p screen, and measuring at only 0.7" thick! Personally, I have always wanted a Razer Blade since 2014, because all other gaming laptops are SUPER bulky and are not slim or minimalistic. Unfortunately I have never had enough money to buy one, so I think this is the perfect opportunity to get one. If your reading this forum Linus, I was the kid who met you at the Intel Booth on Friday. (BTW I'm not some new guy who just created an account I've been on your forum since February.) Tanks in advance
  9. I am trying out Premiere Pro as a replacement for a video editing software, and I keep encountering choppy playback (playing back is laggy and inconsistent, skipping and jumping back frames, and lowering overall framerate) when in the editor and trying to play clips. Is this normal? I've heard that this is caused from systems not being powerful enough or not having enough RAM, though I have plenty and a fast CPU: Xeon W3530 @ 2.8GHz 12GB DDR3 Even so, this is happening after only importing one 2 minute 720p clip. Does anyone know of a fix for this, or if I'm doing something wrong? I have tried importing a 5 minute long audio clip (no video is playing) and this still happens. I have tried changing my playback quality from Full to 1/4 but this doesn't seem to be helping. Thanks in advance.
