    Cant you just right click open image in new tab thats what i have always done

    @Being Delirious It worked for me last night, but it just changed for me now.

    @Vernw3 Because (if you read the article), it gives you the thumbnail and not the original image.

    I think the reason is obvious, they've become uncomfortable with their success and would like to give other search engines a chance.  I mean it's the only explanation for why they would just make their service worse for no reason.

    Dear Google. Please, from time to time, you can pretend that you are a Microsoft Windows and you can just stop working, its okay... we do not desire improvements so massive, that they become a hindrance.

    Everyone keeps saying that but no one has bothered to read the article or test for themselves to realize that doing that just gets you the thumbnail

    @Cinnabar Sonar People have been saying it gives them the google thumbnail not the full-res image.
