  4. Your turn @ShearMe The point still stands. The FiiO E09k is *OK* at best, but there are better and cheaper alternatives (E10). Even more-so, I'd still like to push that you shouldn't get such a pricey DAC to use as a paper weight until your next Bday/Xmas where you'll ask for a good pair of headphones. At the end of the day, its your choice and the advice you've asked for is here. Use it wisely. Just one moment here, FiiO E09K is just a desktop amp and like its predecessor, E09, It doesn't have any DAC components. Hence why, it has the dock connector so you could dock it with E07K or E17 to use its DAC I would still suggest you invest in a pair of good headphones first and only think abt it when you need an amp to drive those high impedance headphones.
