  1. That was uncalled for, and a little bit harsher than it needed to be in my opinion.
  2. Yeah, the HAF Stacker would be a little.... much
  3. Guys please read the question, I said other than the Define R4/Arc Midi R2. I'm already looking into the Define R4 I just want more options.
  4. What is your favorite case below $150 OTHER than the obvious Define R4/Arc Midi R2? I may get the Define R4 but I want more options. Thanks
  5. I'm a little bit offended by that guy, I am almost 16 yrs and feel as if I'm above that. edit: for clarification
  6. I have no clue, but you could also look into the Asus Sabertooth 990FX which is also a fantastic motherboard.
  7. I mostly play games like Bioshock: Infinite, The Witcher, Skyrim, and Fallout (my favorite). While occasionally playing games like Counter Strike: Source , Gmod, and Battlefield 4
  8. Well sweet then thats what I'll do. I will install that in my computer and I'll just upgrade it whenever I feel like it. Thanks man
  9. I think I may do that. If its able to run games well alongside like a GTX 770 or something then I might just keep it for about a year.
  10. My budget is far from $1200 my friend. I still need to get a case and a new PSU. Would it be stupid of me to just buy the 8350 and a motherboard now and then just save up and buy a superior Intel CPU later on (like October or something)?
  11. I'm getting very different feedback than from overclock.net
  12. I don't really have a finite "budget" per se, but I would be able to potentially get other parts with any saved money
  13. I know I have posted a similar topic before, but I am still in a dilemma. Should I get the AMD FX-8350 or the i5 4670k processor? Keep in mind that I am on a bit of a budget being in my teens without a real income at the moment. Other places on the web I have asked a similar question I am told that I should save up and put forth the extra money for the better Intel processor for gaming. What does the LTT forums think I should do in my specific situation?
  14. Will do. Thanks for the reassurance that I'm not crazy, I was beginning to think I was the only one that saw it edit for grammar
  15. Makes sense. Have you witnessed it yourself, or just evaluating? I want for somebody to say they see it too because I feel like I'm crazy but I swear to god its there
  16. Am I the only one who notices the INSANE amount of Intel fanboyism on that subreddit? If you even suggest the use of an AMD CPU someone will almost immediately argue it, even for a budget build. Now I'm not a fanboy myself but this drives me mad. Many people who are new to building PCs refer to that subreddit and many people on there (not all, mind you) give them the mindset that putting an AMD processor in your computer is the equivalent of taking a big dump all over it. I just don't get why they advise people who are on a budget to steer clear of AMD. Intel is most of the time the better choice but their is nothing wrong with an AMD processor for those on a budget. This was more of a rant, but that really frustrates me
  17. I have been around technology for most of my life. PCs in general interest me because of the freedom to create something that is truly MINE, completely custom, to play games with. I think of it this way: Who made the Xbox? Microsoft. Who made the Playstation? Sony. Who made this PC? Me... I did
  18. Oh okay, so they put it there to make it look like the consumer will get a deal in the long run which will give motive to buy the product, knowing that many consumers wont seize this opportunity due to the work involved?
  19. I understand how they work, and the process of them and how the consumer can benefit and such. However, I don't understand the point of the companies even offering one, how do they benefit in any way? Plus, why do they have to put this unnecessary process in there, why not just lower the items price? This may be a stupid question but I don't understand this.
  20. Yep, then I'd say Corsair M65 (like everyone else) OR Logitech G602
  21. Do you play games? If so, what kind?
