  1. Canada is in the EU now?!
  2. Makes way more sense to learn manual, that way you can use either without issues!
  3. You're even in the UK! The European market is DOMINATED by manual transmissions. You don't drive I guess?
  4. Fully verified with 0 issues, might have been lucky but no dropped frames. If I was to go any higher (issues start at around 126hz) then yes it freaks out or comes up with the "Change input to 2560x1440@60HZ" message.
  5. Have you tried overclocking your display? I have 3x P2416D's and they're all at 120hz with no issues! Might be worth a try before you go dropping money on a new display
  6. But is an issue if he has a lower wattage PSU! We need to know more about his current system.
  7. What is the rest of your system? If you're on a GTX 275 it might be worth just going for a full system upgrade at this point
  8. Also you do appreciate that when it comes to render machines your GPU won't be nearly as important as a beefy CPU? You sound like you want to setup a render farm with this much money but honestly you could get away with a decent Z97/Z170 rig and an X99 xeon machine for kicks. You're throwing a lot of money at a problem that doesn't need nearly as much gear as you seem to think...
  9. If you're willing to drop that kind of money you might as well build a separate computer to handle streaming/editing or you go the Quadro M6000 route cuz monies!
  10. What are you using 2/3/4 Titan X's for? Sure buy as many as you want if you're dead set on getting them
  11. Can't sadly, had this issue while setting up hackintosh dual boot!
  12. Aim for me post Uni is to get a "normal" job and just freelance when and where appropriate, more money in standard office jobs sadly!
  13. Where did you study? Any employed work doing your thing is industry work
  14. So where you lot hiding? And what are you doing currently? Going to Uni? Freelancing? Employed? Lets get a discussion going! Now I'm gonna make a few people upset with this but, no I am not talking about the 12-15 year olds who can use photoshop. I am sorry but you have no experience with the industry, I was like you too once but I never called myself a designer I just kept working on getting better. I am specifically talking about 18+ designers/illustrators who have either gone through college (UK, for the US that would be 16-18) or university or who have been in the field for a while. Now, I've met a few freelancers on here but never seen more than 2 at once! Are we few and far between or are we keeping ourselves to ourselves? (Yes I know you have been designing for 500 years since you were age -488 but you're still 12 and almost everyone else has more experience and insight than you, I am sorry but this is for big boys.)
