    Just read some thing interesting on backing up and what pros and cons of storage. SDD is great for day to day use and very short storage. Hard drive is still going to be your best bet.

    Hardrives are going to be your best bet. SSds you have to keep them powered to store your data because it degrades over time if not plunged in .

    SSD should last 5 years and if you have defragment your ssd you probably have broken it and voided the warranted.

    As your power supply gets older it loses some of it capacity due to wear and tear.

    If you going second hand with the PSU go for 500w because you lose a little wattage dew to ageing components.

    Just to add Make sure you graphics cards are compatible with 2 way or 4 way SLI because some model graphics cards don't SLI or Crossfire.

    You might want do your math because 2 970s use 402 watts. I really don't to fight over it.

    You could go with 1 TB SSD witch would give you a lot more space. Fastest Hard External HDD is 7200 RPM then there SSD External drives it deepens on you budget.
