  1. Guess what? MS doesn't care about PC sales. Their minds are set on us using the Windows Store. That's where they hope the majority of their revenue will come from. So to them, selling another PC is second.
  2. I'm actually more excited for this one. It's looks more unique.
  3. Is it possible for one company, which had bad QC issues in the past like people are suggesting of Razer, to rectify this problem presently? Or if it has happened before, then it's guaranteed to happen for eternity?
  4. Someone mentioned you can turn off ads in Gmail. Is that correct? And how? I would like to do that.
  5. Source: http://kotaku.com/sources-sony-is-working-on-a-ps4-5-1765723053 Multiple sources coming out of GDC have claimed that Sony is looking into upgrading the PS4. The new device, called PS4.5 or PS4K for now, it supposedly able to run games at 4K resolution. It's unclear how they will implement this, but I am 100% positive it will be a just another console release just like the New Nintendo 3DS rather than something you will plug into your existing PS4. This come right on the heels of MS's announcement this month about the potential for Xbox upgrades. A source mentioned that this sounds exploratory for now, so it seems like Sony doesn't want to be left behind this generation - you get a lot of attention as the most powerful console, and I bet Sony doesn't want to lose that crown. I don't know how they will make this work, because as of right now it is really expensive to run 4K video games at 60 FPS. Whatever this console is, it may be really expensive. Console manufacturers don't like seller these things at a loss anymore.
  6. Source: http://news.xbox.com/2016/03/18/spring-sale-xbox-one-starting-at-299-a-week-of-game-deals/ Starting March 20, 2016 MS will be taking $50 off all Xbox One bundles for a "limited time". Of course, the last time they said this it became a permanent price drop, so I am confident that this will be the permanent price sometime early this year. $299 for a console is not a bad price, and it's getting hard to compete with something that already has a controller and Blu-ray drive bundled in with the price (yes, some people still need/use those features). Also since Phil Spencer did say he's working on PC streaming (http://www.theverge.com/2015/7/29/9061467/microsoft-windows-10-pc-game-streaming-to-xbox-one), this may be a good entry for those who want an easy way to watch media apps and to stream PC games to their couch.
  7. I feel like no one here understands why people buy consoles. Having different SKUs of a console doesn't make it a PC. Having a good, better, best tier doesn't make it a PC. Making it upgradable doesn't make it a PC.
  8. http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/03/01/forza-motorsport-6-apex-announced-free-to-play-on-pc?abthid=56d5a0729d46f67f30000017 Turn 10 Studios has announced that Forza Motorsport 6 is coming to PC (Windows 10 exclusive of course, what did you expect?) as a free-to-play game. It's a little different from the original game on Xbox One. At launch, there will feature 12 themed racing events, more than 60 cars, and a new objective system, which challenges players to complete specific, skill-based tasks for additional in-game currency. Yes, you earn in-game currency to purchase cars and presumably tracks. Or you can buy them with real money. Looks like MS is looking at PC as more of a free-to-play model with this and Fable: Legends. Makes sense since it's a low barrier of entry.
  9. It's like 4 people on the internet, and yet, somehow every video game site has this as news. I guarantee that there are an equal percentage of people on PS4, or PC who are just as stupid. Should not be news.
  10. http://www.theverge.com/2015/12/8/9869980/google-pixel-c-tablet-review-android http://www.engadget.com/2015/12/08/google-pixel-c-review/ Two reviews that say it's not worth it. And I agree. What's the point if it runs sluggishly and you can't properly multitask?
  11. Oh wow, the amount of people forgiving Valve, making excuses is really high in this thread. If this was reversed I don't think I would see any remorse.
  12. About time. I remember them sending out surveys about mITX like a year ago.
  13. So, suspend and resume gaming is out of the question for now... http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/08/17/there-is-no-suspend-feature-for-steam-machines?abthid=55d23d2e183298673f000011
