  1. @Corsair@Corsair Nick@Corsair Joseph@Corsair George@Corsair Johan@Corsair James@Corsair Blake from the corsair cable compatibility chart it says it's fine? seems like it's ground and it doesn't matter which one it empty?
  2. I am currently building a new pc and i'm trying to hook up a gigabyte rtx4080 eagle oc 16gb gpu I have a corsair RM850e psu but it appears I don't have enough PCIe cables for the GPU. I have an older corsair RM750x psu with extra PCIe cables. It appears that you can safely interchange corsair type 4 PCIe from what i've read. BUT the problem is when i check the psu side connector, the 8 pins are different with a missing pin at a different place on the rm750x cables than on the rm850e cables. I'd like to know if i'm doing something wrong here, what is the best course of action? am i supposed to have enough cable with the rm850e? is it still safe to use the RM750x cables? interchange them?
  3. Thank you for your help! checking if getting this PC for 2000$ is a decent deal or if it's overpriced and we can get better perfs for the same $$$. CPU:Ryzen 9 5900X GPU: AMD Radeon 6900XT MOBO : Aorus Elite X570 Wifi RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32gb 3600mhz M.2: 1tb samsung evo 980 pro M.2: WD blue 500g SSD: 1to WD blue PSU: 850 W bronze EVGA CASE: Corsair 220T mid tower Cooler: Corsair h100i rgb With an Asus 27 inch 165hz 1440p gsync monitor. Should I get this or can we get better for the same price nowadays?
  4. I would like to fix the uneven throttle on my brand new X56 Hotas to have good control on dual throttle F14 in DCS. This is what i got when both halves are connected together with the pin, it should be the same number or within small margins. I don't know how to adjust it, there doesnt seem to be an option anywhere.
  5. turns out the board was just warped so it didn't fit perfectly flat, this board also turned out to be an extreme disappointment as it was a faulty open box newegg sent me instead of the new board i bought.
  6. it was most likely a faulty board, i'm rmaing both cpu and board since i have no way to test. and yes, they most likely sold me a board that they knew was faulty. I just noticed there was a zero frozr sticker on the motherboard box, which is supposed to be for msi graphics card? what did that sticker do on the motherboard box lol i never purchased an msi graphics card. Like it really looks like this sticker was put there by the previous owner that returned it ( I never owned an msi card ) plus the board came with a bunch of messed up settings in the bios that when i called to msi support they told me it should not be this way from factory. If i had to take a guess, newegg sold me a faulty board someone else returned and they knew about it. I have now an i9 12900k and z690 asus tuf in the pc and it's fixed, no more crashes, i sent them back the cpu and board for a refund once they get them. I spent hours trying to diagnose and fix that crap and it turns out they shipped open box faulty shit to me while i bought it new. leading to me spending some of the most terrible days i've had in the last few months just spending hours trying to diagnose while my sister needed a working pc for her school work. All in all it's also really dumb for newegg since they are getting an open box 5950x processor back from me as well, they just made their loss 4x worse...
  7. I have an asus tuf z690-PLUS WIFI d4 motherboard with included wifi, on the other hand I have a tp-link t6e ac1300 wifi card. Which of those two will deliver the best performances? Do i use the mobo onboard wifi or do i plug my wifi card in?
  8. anyways, newegg is being really helpful thankfully and i'm returning both the cpu and mobo for a refund/return and i already bought a i9 12900k with asus z690 tuf board. Hopefully those works. I've had a little haut le coeur abour ryzen cpus and boards for the moment XD
  9. looks like it's caused by me locking ratio at 40, it seems to put ryzen master settings all out of whack, but i'll run it this way until i return that crap to newegg since it's the only way to have it not reboot.
  10. i have, after noticing that pbo was enabled. those values came out of nowhere, it should have been at stock settings. I pressed reset on amd ryzen and it bsod and restart and now it shows those values.
  11. what the fuck, look at those PPT SOC TDC AND EDC values, this does not look normal does it?
  12. I'll make threads titled after the content that is inside thank you, if you're not happy don't click on them and go spend your time elsewhere.
  13. how is it user error? and this time i'm asking how to tell which one is faulty. no need to ask 20 different questions in the same topic, that's why we have topic titles.
