Everyone out here buying new AMD and Intel processors, while i'm buying a Mid 2010 Mac Pro which is running unsupported software.

    Hey them and the 2012s are great machines, I've worked a ton on them.

    You can pop in new GPUs PCIE SSDs and dual 6 cores along with plenty of ram.

    @GDRRiley Oh yeah for sure. I will likely run Catalina on there, with a GTX 680. Don't really need a lot of graphics horsepower even if I can use something like a Radeon VII. Definitely gonna upgrade them CPUs though if they need it.

    GTX680 I don't belive is supported in cat Radeon VII are much faster and pretty cheap or vega 64s

    @GDRRiley As long as the cards support Metal API there is no issues happily.

    I swear they pulled support for all nvida cards.

    @GDRRiley Nope it's listened on apples website as a compatible Nvidia card.

    @GDRRiley the GeForce 600 series is supported because of the 2012 MacBook Pro and iMac which are both still supported on Catalina.
