  1. unless ur hand is over 19cm, i don't really recommend the ec1-a. go for ec2-a. If its smaller, you can control it better hence aim better. so try ec2-a. i have one and i'm 17.5cm. i would prefer ec3-a if they ever made one over my ec2-a
  2. Lets just say its their 2 most popular keyboards. Majestouch 2 and Das 4
  3. Just wondering whether Filco or Das is better in the high quality keyboard category. Always been curious.
  4. In my opinion, i think the Vortex is better than the Filco, Filco has cheap keycaps, and nothing really special about it, you might as well go for the Masterkeys S with the RGB if your thinking of Filco. Also for Vortex, go for the PBT keycaps one. Backlighting isn't that important, PBT keycaps are thicker and feels better when you type on them. As for your friend, Das 4 is a very good keyboard, i've used them. I can't say how Masterkeys are, i don't think they will be better quality than Das though.
  5. Its a very good mouse, and theres nothing wrong with using it as a FPS gaming mouse. However, there is the G303 which is the better mouse for FPS gaming. However, the G402 is much more comfortable that G303 and feels built much sturdily. Also it does not use the same sensor as the G502. G303 uses the same sensor as G502.
  6. I don't know if they are the real deal or not, but my V-Moda Crossfade i bought from Amazon works fine on anything. My android tablet, my IPhone, and my computer. The weird thing on that link is that "Made for IPod..." sticker, because my box does not have any stickers on it that says that. I forgot to mention, the V-Moda's come with a nice braided cord, and a heavy duty carry case. Also if you're thinking of getting the V-Moda Crossfades, you might want to get the XL foam earcups as well, they are really great and makes them much more comfortable than the original ear cups. Of course its not necessary though, the original ear cup will work just fine.
  7. The crossfades LP (over ears) are normally $100~120. M-80s can be slightly cheaper
  8. Okay, lets just stick with that, and thats your opinion. I'm 100% fine on that. Since this argument is getting heated up, i have gone and re-edited some of my choice of words there and i would like to apologize. Your opinion is yours and my opinion is mine.
  9. 1. Logitech knows what they're doing. They have much smarter people than you work and develop their products after millions of dollar into research. They are more than capable of putting them well together, which they have. G502 and G402 are absolutely sturdy and when you hold them, you can feel it being sturdy (but they could've still cut down on the weights) 2. Your "friends" of 2-3 does not account for the millions of people who have bought Logitech mice. Bring me a proper fact of the overall faults in their mice. 3. Same thing applies as 2. All your talking is coming from your claim that Logitech is bad due to 2 people having a defective unit or them being paranoid about the smallest issues that might not even be an issue. I can show you many complaints about Cherry switches on the internet, still doesn't mean Cherry is bad. 4. I never said gaming headsets are good. if you actually read properly, i imply that gaming headsets are rather below average in terms of audio quality. I also don't believe you have over experience with over 100 headphones but not going to bother on that point. Normal headphones will most generally produce better sound quality than gaming headsets, that's a fact that i don't disagree with. I said, Logitech's audio quality on their headset is completely fine for a $50 gaming headset compared to OTHER GAMING HEADSETS AROUND THE SAME COST, their main issue is their comfortability. Of course, i'm not saying logitech makes the best gaming headsets either. 5. Logitech makes speakers for the general use, cheap and decent. They don't have to be brilliant, they also don't cost ridiculous amounts of money which the speakers your thinking of does. Like i said, they won't beat audiophile level speakers that costs ALOT, but they are good bang for their buck. Also the thread is about the G402 mouse so lets keep your arguments strictly to their gaming peripherals.
  10. Yes they are, the 3366 is just Logitech's exclusive name, where Logitech might or might have not made some changes. The 3360 is just the public name for the Logitech exclusive 3366. The only difference which i'm not 100% sure is the dpi steps of 50 and 100 respectively.
  11. They are basically the same sensor
  12. This is the M65 Pro, it has the same sensor as the G303. It has the 3360 optical sensor...
  13. Do you think its worth $30 more to get NKRO and dedicated media buttons? I personally would, but i don't know about you. Its not the best advice and don't take my word for it. There might be other differences i don't know of so my opinion isn't the best. Try to get an opinion from someone who actually knows the facts about these keyboards lol.
  14. Logitech probably has the highest quality mice on the market, I don't see Steelseries making a mouse that feels higher quality than Logitech's G900, G602, G502, G402, I don't see one from Zowie, the only company that makes similar if not higher quality is Corsair with their aluminium body in the M65. Logitech has massively improved their products ever since their new G gaming and "Science wins" motto. Their build quality is solid the materials used are solid. They use the best sensor available in the world. The only thing from Logitech's lineup that is sort of "cheap" is the G302/G303. However, i still use it to play CSGO. I agree that lighter mouse means better usage in FPS games, i agree but Logitech is nowhere near "mediocre". They make the most solid mouse. They have excellent customer support (guess what you would expect from the biggest company out of all the other competitors). Yes there are some other mouse better for FPS, Finalmouse makes better FPS mouse than Logitech but their build quality is sub-par. Zowie's are great but again their quality is similar to the G303. I would also say G303 is my preferred option over my Zowie EC2-A to use to play CSGO at GE level just because of that really nice 3366 sensor. Also please don't spout nonsense if you don't know anything, Logitech's headsets are fine, their choice of earcups and comfortability may be an arguable but like other "gaming" headsets their audio quality is perfectly fine. Also Logitech does not use Kaihl switches, and they never had. They used Cherry MX switches then moved onto Romer-G switches which are manufactured by Omron, in terms of quality check, i would say Omron's are above Cherry, the feeling is debatable though. They also now have Cherry MX switches available as well. Also if you don't know, Logitech's speakers are really good value, sure their top models can't compete with other very high end audiophile companies but for value they are very good.
  15. If its DJ headphones and you like having bass, then check out the V-Moda Crossfade LP, thats over ear. V-Moda M-80's are on ear but they seem to have slightly more vocal clarity and balanced. Crossfade's are good DJ headphones with nice bass for $100.
  16. For that kind of budget i would say get a Steelseries Siberia 200 headphones on sale. With $46 you're not going to get a good mechanical keyboard. While people may say they are good and all, i can sell many things going wrong with a keyboard like that after some time. You can also buy something like a $5 wired logitech keyboard to use and save up $80 to buy atleast Kailh switchs. I just wouldn't recommend trusting these $30-40 mechanical keyboards. Cherry switches cost something like $1 for each single one. Or you could save up a bit more and buy that CM Storm with Cherry switches or Kailh switches.
  17. I would agree that Steelseries has a pretty horrendous support service but i wouldn't be too concerned about it. Steelseries products are generally pretty good quality and if theres anything wrong as soon as you buy it, just take it back to the shop.
  18. Lets be honest, anyone thats looking for a Cherry MX Blue loves that loud click sound Also i think hes saying that the Cherry MX Blues on a K70 makes a heavy, thud noise rather than a nice crisp click. Atleast my K70 Lux did that.
  19. If you don't need RGB, then pay that extra more for the Das, its very high quality and very professional looking, although the PCB mounted metal plate might be more pleasing to look at. The backlighting on keyboards tend to go wrong after awhile and when it does, it won't feel good anymore and you won't like it. Also as you said, its seems true that the K70s don't fit well with Cherry MX Blue switches. I noticed that it does not feel or sound good as my Razer Blackwidow 2012. My unit also had the issue where the large keys were stiff to press. This was the new Lux series as well. As for the difference, I don't know much other difference other than Das Model S needs PS2 connection for NKRO while Das 4 can use NKRO with USB. Of course theres the dedicated media control and volume knob difference you have mentioned.
  20. If your hand is on the larger size, then go for Razer Deathadder. While i will say that the G502 is a better mouse, the Razer Deathadder is better for FPS because its lighter. The G502 is indeed an excellent mouse but its far too heavy to use as a good FPS mouse. It has the best sensor on the market, and good primary and side buttons, but its too heavy, even with the weights out. That's why although i loved my G502 for everyday normal use like browsing, i took it back for the G402 and G303. Also to be honest, there other options in this price range. Just find a mouse using either the 3310/3360/3366/3989, with Omron mouse buttons and a fairly lightweight build that fits your hand size. Its more important that your hand is comfortable while holding the mouse.
  21. I haven't completely used a Kailh switch before, as in have it at home and type away on it for a week. But from my personal experience, except for my broken Das and Blackwidow 2013 keyboard, all the cherry blue's i have used were inconsistent. The closest keyboard that came to consistency was the K70 RGB LUX. While the normal keys was consistent, i don't know why but all the large keys, backspace, shift, enter etc, felt linear and very hard to press, like it was more than double a cherry mx black's actuation force. The 2 Kailh keyboards i used were more consistent. Of course there was some consistency but i don't mean like it had no tactile bump, or no click sound inconsistent that i experienced with the Cherry MX Blue boards. But then again, my friends CM Storm Quickfire Ultimate is very consistent and nice.
  22. If your not going to buy a custom mechanical keyboard, then Corsair K70 RGB Rapidfire for me. The Cherry MX Speeds feel similar to Cherry Reds but feel better, smoother and lighter. But if its for typing and office use as well, then how about Filco, Das or KBC Poker 3.
  23. As the previous post said, you won't have to worry about the mouse's click lightness, they are very nice to press and light, but not light enough to accidentally press.
  24. If you like blue switches, then go for it. the keyboards very good.
  25. Coolermaster Masterkeys S (10 keyless) or L (full size). Razer Blackwidow Chroma X (has tkl or full) Corsair K70 Logitech G610 or G810
