  1. sorry, I of course meant the 3600!!!!!
  2. A B450 board won't boot until is has been updated. When the seller has updated the board, the package will say "Ryzen 3000 ready" but since the launch was three days ago, you won't find any of those for some time. In order to update the bios you need a 1000 or 2000 ryzen cpu, OR you can do what I did, which is to buy a motherboard than can update the bios via usb, no cpu required. I bought a MSI B450-A Pro, putted the latest bios on a usb, plugged it in, pushed a button on the motherboard and wham-bang-thank-you-mam. I'm gaming with a 3600 no problem.
  3. HELLO EVERYBODY! I just got my new system up and running, 3500 on a B450-A Pro from MSI. Everything is running very smooth, however I have noticed the CPU voltage is rather high, around 1.4 (1.487v max i hwmonitor after some gaming and stress test). Is this normal? Gamers Nexus did mention that they also saw high voltage on their ryzen processors and even manually down-tuned the voltage when overclocking. My temps are 75C when stress testing with a 120mm AIO. Anyone else with a 3500 who can confirm this is normal?
  4. What temps do you get in HWmonitor?
  5. Under load or idle? Cause thats very high for idle temps.
  6. Sounds strange with the voltage, especially if you are using DDR4... This could be any kinda problem, so maybe start with clearing cmos, new windows install... Also, how are the temps on each component?
  7. okay, then it could be a number of things. First I would try the ram (I've had the same problem happen to me with faulty ram sticks). If you have more than one ram stick in, try taking one out. If that doesn't work, try the other. Then try other ram-slots. If that doesn't work, you should try to reset CMOS. Look in the motherboard manual, there should be an explenation on how to short circut two pins (some mb even have a button for this).
  8. My suggestion would be to throw the computer out the window and become a potato-farmer. But as for troubleshooting: If you haven't overclocked your cpu, any B450 motherboard should handle a 2700x. When you say crashing, do you mean BSOD, program crashing or the entire computer turning off at once?
  9. When you say it won't boot, does that mean completely dead or does it give a little twitch like spining the fans for half a second?
  10. Old post, but let me try anywaysssss: I got the same problem on a projekter and ultra bluerays.... However dark colors are fine but the whites/light areas of the screen does the same pixelating stuff... We have tried everything and several movies, no solutions....
  11. wow, that was a late respons to an old post I've sold my second computer with the 1050 in it, but if I ever start streaming again and somehow get my hands on another gtx, I will try your method.
  12. yes, I read about BCLK, have never tried it though... Any info I should be aware of before doing it? It's just and old secondary computer, that I'm fooling around with, so I'm not super afraid of breaking stuff...
  13. Already did... that's sets the speed to 3.4....
  14. Hi folks So my quesiton is; can I set my 3770S to run at it's boost clock speed all the time? It's now running at 3.5, the base is set to 3.1 and boost is 3.9. I would like it to run at 3.9 all the time. Cooling is fine, sub 60C. Motherboard is a msi h67ma-e45 (b3).
  15. I found a solution: http://ultimateoutsider.com/downloads/ Thanks for the help though.... I will talk to my grandparents about W10
