***She has a new name, Schnee Weiss***

This is my first time doing the liquid cooling things, First I test ran the system with just the on board GPU and standard CPU cooler.

The RAM and CPU cooler installed.

Having confirmed that at least everything starts and I can get into the BIOS it's time to put in the 2 water blocks and do the plumbing. The GPU goes first. Nvidia 980 Ti Reference.

I still think the reference cards are the prettiest of all the cards.

The Wafer substrate is so shiny.

More copper. Honestly I wanted the EK waterblock but couldn't find it.

    EK Supremacy EVO.

With everything installed it;s time to do the tube. and check for leaks.

There was a bit of leakage on the return fitting of the reservoir and the inlet to the pump. luckily nothing major and a quick twist with a wrench sorted the problem. but filling it up was a pain.

I'm happy with the temperature even with just one radiator. Although i'm surprised at how cool the radiator remains.

    All done.

I will be changing the top fans to a LTT edition noctua when it arrives on monday.
Also i've just ordered the Acer Predator X34 monitor.

Once the OS and the drivers has been installed I ran Catzilla benchmark on Schnee Weiss.  I like what i saw.  20171 score. The stream VR result also came out good.

    *New name*

Yes, the computer is called Loli hunting Machine. I've decided to build a new computer because my last build was in 2009. It uses DDR2 on a n780 chipset socket 775. Yes, neither intel nor AMD chipset. In the meantime I play my games on a Samsung "gaming" laptop. It's about 4 years old now. I ran a Catzilla benchmark on it recently and received a score of whooping 3439 for 1080p. I'm looking forward to seeing the comparison when the new PC is completed.

My Last build in 2009 when i was at uni in London.

Case: Thermaltake Level 10 GT, slightly modded
MB: Asus Maximus VIII Formula, Z170
    CPU: i7 6700K
    MEM: G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 3200, 32GB
GPU: MSI GTX 980ti, Reference Card

    Some liquid cooling stuff:
EK EVO CPU water Block XSPC Raxor 980Ti Waterblock with back plate PPCS 655 Waterpump FrozenQ Novacore Coolgate 240mm and 120mm Radiator

A good build start off with a plan. I wanted to Liquid cool the system, taking advantage of the built in EK water block on the MB northbridge. Things to be Liquid cools are, MB, CPU and GPU. I also did a basic Fan layout

The Lv10 GT case Is a pretty case but I really didn't like the fact that you can't show off the SSD. Granted it was designed before SSD were this accessible The hot-swappable bay were nice but I don't really need it. So i wanted to show off the SSD, I need some windows. Here is what the case look like before

And here is how i've changed it. I removed all the HDD bay and put an Acrylic window so that you can see the pump or the SSD. The mesh was cut to half length and replaced with Acrylic window to show the SSD.

I am still waiting for the Cooling stuff to arrive so this is all I have for now.

BarcodeLoli reacted to Mnpctech in Cooler Master Mastercase Racing, Porsche 917 Le Mans Tribute
I'm creating a new case mod with Cooler Master's Mastercase 5 / Pro Mid Tower. "Mastercase Racing" will be the catalyst for new bolt-on accessories and modifications for this case by Mnpctech. The custom paint finish will be inspired race by Steve McQueen's GULF PORSCHE 917 from his 1971 movie, "Le Mans."

The MasterCase Mid Tower draws it's inspiration from Cooler Master's MasterConcept from 2016 CES. Cooler Master wants you to have absolute control over how your case looks and functions. You can adjust the exterior structure and it's look through a range of replacement panels and doors. Each choice changes the look of the exterior while giving you flexibility of the interior layout. Order a new Mastercase 5 or Pro from Newegg, HERE

The legendary PORSCHE 917 is the inspiration for the custom paint on this case mod. The 917 only raced for three seasons. It placed 1st in fourteen of the twenty one races it entered 1969 through 1971. The only Gulf Porsche 917 to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans was the one driven in Steve McQueen's "Le Mans" movie. His 917 from the movie was chassis # 022 and purchased in 1970, from the Porsche by Steve McQueen's movie production company, Solar Productions. It was also the company that would bring the movie "Le Mans" to the big screen. This is the car that McQueen's character, Michael Delaney, starts the race in, and "crashes" late in the race, "writing the car off." The car that was crashed was really a Lola T-70, painted and rebodied, to look like a 917. Many innovations in cinematography, were first tried in this movie. They even went so far, as to weld brackets to the front frame work of the 917, so they could mount a camera to shoot Steve, and the other drivers, in the cockpit. I'm debating about replacing the #22 with #5 to represent the Mastercase 5.

Display the hardware in your Cooler Master MasterCase Pro & 5 with the "Easy PC Mastercase Window Panel" It allows a full view inside your PC without any obstructions. "Easy PC Window Panel" is professionally laser cut from 1/8" thick 100% cast acrylic. It has embedded magnets to make installation and removal fast and easy. The window panel is the same size as the factory steel panel for the Cooler Master MasterCase Pro & 5.

The Mastercase 5 chassis and exterior parts before prepping them with Red Scotchbrite for our custom paint finish. I will be utilizing House of Kolor and PPG products.

Here is the hardware I'd like to use for the "Mastercase Racing" Gaming PC build, but my budget may have to be limited for another personal project. I'd love the INTEL Core i7-6700K 8M Skylake Quad-Core 4.0 GHz LGA 1151 91W processor to be our race car engine. My first choice of motherboard is GIGABYTE's GA-Z170X-SOC FORCE. It's touted as the ultimate Z170 "Super OverClock" solution from GIGABYTE. It also offers a vast array of user features that includes 22 phases of digital power, cool new OC Touch buttons, durable PCIe slots with metal trim. The SOC FORCE has a large heat sink layout with heat pipe dissipation system and water channel technology to incorporate hybrid cooling through air and liquid supply. This allows the VRMs and MOSFETs to stay cool under load when voltages are pushed high

Brad is applying final coat of Gulf Racing Orange paint, this was custom mixed from specs for the 1970 Porsche 917 race car from Steve McQueen's movie, "Le Mans" We applied this paint to the EK radiator and misc Mastercase accessories

I'll be utilizing "5" as race number to represent Cooler Master's Mastercase 5
