  1. Budget (including currency): 1000-1500 Country: South East Asia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: for me, Chrome (Kantai collection browser game), Wows, Anno, FF14, (homeworld maybe?) ps3 emulator. For her excel, phtoshop maybe light gaming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I'm currently running, CPU 3700x Mobo Aorous X570 ultra (chipset fan dead, well not dead but loud so turn it off) Ram 32GB Thermaltake 3600 (running at 3200 coz 4 sticks) GPU RTX 2070 Super. Custom water loop 360mm rad, ek block, pump res Case O11D Air I have a spare RX5700XT to give to my wife and i've commited to her pc so far Mobo ASrock B550m Steel Legend O11 Air mini, Asus 850 psu, EK Basic 240 AIO, LTT noctua (it refuses to die) I'm planning to give her my Cpu and ram. so she will have a decent sytem with the 3700x and RX5700XT and 32gb ram of whatever the memory speed the board/cpu will run at. The question is do I go in on AM5 7900x/7700x + X670/B650 + DDR5. switch to intel then i have a choice to make with ddr4 vs 5. but what ever cost i saved from going to intel ddr4 will be offset by the need to get a new lga1700 waterblock. theo ther option would be 5900x or 5800x3d in a x570s mobo or another b550 without the chipset fan. or just get ryzen 5000 and stick with the same mobo and run it till the chipset die of heat. from now on i'll probably stick to 2 stick ram. And i have no plan to buy new gpu at this point, the 2070super is fine, eventhough i'm on the aorous 43in 4k monitor. i just run game at 1440p.
  2. I've tried playing it about a year ago, but didn;t really have anyone to play with. if you guys are on discord next week I'll join in. Internet so slow so i probably cannot download it this weekend
  3. ***She has a new name, Schnee Weiss*** This is my first time doing the liquid cooling things, First I test ran the system with just the on board GPU and standard CPU cooler. The RAM and CPU cooler installed. Having confirmed that at least everything starts and I can get into the BIOS it's time to put in the 2 water blocks and do the plumbing. The GPU goes first. Nvidia 980 Ti Reference. I still think the reference cards are the prettiest of all the cards. The Wafer substrate is so shiny. More copper. Honestly I wanted the EK waterblock but couldn't find it. EK Supremacy EVO. With everything installed it;s time to do the tube. and check for leaks. There was a bit of leakage on the return fitting of the reservoir and the inlet to the pump. luckily nothing major and a quick twist with a wrench sorted the problem. but filling it up was a pain. I'm happy with the temperature even with just one radiator. Although i'm surprised at how cool the radiator remains. All done. I will be changing the top fans to a LTT edition noctua when it arrives on monday. Also i've just ordered the Acer Predator X34 monitor. Once the OS and the drivers has been installed I ran Catzilla benchmark on Schnee Weiss. I like what i saw. 20171 score. The stream VR result also came out good.
  4. So I f up a bit. All 3 radiators I ordered were too big, OR I should say this Case is damn tiny. But first thing first. The Cooling supplies has arrived. I can say my excitement did not last long. The 240mm rad were a tad too thick. The 140mm Rad will not clear the Northbridge cooler port, the powersupply is in the way of the 120mm rad. So my moving the 240mm rad outside of the case, I've gone from 3 rads to 1 rads, this should still be big enough as the rad is huge. And I have to use a pull type for top exhaust. , The blessing with the new set up now is that bleeding out the system will be much easier. same with filling, if i want to fill it up by the radiator. So having tested out where everything would go, I'm now goign to put in the RAM and CPU to test run that everything work. Then onwards to Liquid cooling. Here is the current Layout.
  5. *New name* Yes, the computer is called Loli hunting Machine. I've decided to build a new computer because my last build was in 2009. It uses DDR2 on a n780 chipset socket 775. Yes, neither intel nor AMD chipset. In the meantime I play my games on a Samsung "gaming" laptop. It's about 4 years old now. I ran a Catzilla benchmark on it recently and received a score of whooping 3439 for 1080p. I'm looking forward to seeing the comparison when the new PC is completed. My Last build in 2009 when i was at uni in London. Bill of Material Case: Thermaltake Level 10 GT, slightly modded MB: Asus Maximus VIII Formula, Z170 CPU: i7 6700K MEM: G.Skill Trident Z DDR4 3200, 32GB GPU: MSI GTX 980ti, Reference Card PSU: Corsair HX1000i SSD: M.2 Samsung 950 Pro 512GB, Mushkin Reactor 1TB Some liquid cooling stuff: EK EVO CPU water Block XSPC Raxor 980Ti Waterblock with back plate PPCS 655 Waterpump FrozenQ Novacore Coolgate 240mm and 120mm Radiator A good build start off with a plan. I wanted to Liquid cool the system, taking advantage of the built in EK water block on the MB northbridge. Things to be Liquid cools are, MB, CPU and GPU. I also did a basic Fan layout The Lv10 GT case Is a pretty case but I really didn't like the fact that you can't show off the SSD. Granted it was designed before SSD were this accessible The hot-swappable bay were nice but I don't really need it. So i wanted to show off the SSD, I need some windows. Here is what the case look like before And here is how i've changed it. I removed all the HDD bay and put an Acrylic window so that you can see the pump or the SSD. The mesh was cut to half length and replaced with Acrylic window to show the SSD. I am still waiting for the Cooling stuff to arrive so this is all I have for now.
  6. I want the Keyboard because I'm building a new PC and looking to replace my Blackwidow 2014, It's dirty as hell. No eating in front of your computer.
