With no news of Pro cards coming out anytime soon (apart from their current fastest, the Pro VII, which is still on Vega), what is AMD going to do to combat Nvidia on the professional front? I use Blenders Cycles and have a GTX 1070, and I was aware of the fact that AMD is currently giving money to Blender for AMD support. However, it seems to be that the program is going to remain heavily Nvidia-biased.
Not that I think there would be or is anything now, but what is AMD's answer to workstations and the professional space? If their new GPUs can path trace with any renderer like Cycles at similar speeds to OptiX at the same price range, I would be ecstatic.
