  1. This has been feature of android since pie released. Looks like you just have auto rotate turned off.

5Tb hard drive or 250Gb SSD

Only you can really answer the question of how much space do you need? But seeing as you are still using a hard drive as a boot drive I highly suggest getting at least an SSD for your boot drive then getting another hard drive to suit you space needs.

What is wrong with my dad'slaptop?

Reinstalling windows may help if it is a driver issue, but if it a hardware issue like a bad connection from the wifi card to the motherboard or a failing wifi card reinstalling will not help. There is nothing to lose from reinstalling windows so I would say to give it a shot.

1080 Ti vs Titan Xp (pascal)

For the most part the titan xp is a little bit faster than the 1080ti but when they are both overclocked the 1080ti typically pulls ahead.
  6. Download HWMonitor and check your cpu temps to see if they are an issue.
  7. Possibly, but I suspect that the motherboard will be bound to the new license causing the old one to become invalid.
  8. I imagine there would be a performance impact but I am not sure about how much. I don't think it is really a good idea to use bitlocker on a laptop, because if the files are really that sensitive why would you store them on a device that is commonly carried around and relatively likely to be the first target of a thief.
  9. Well if you have a lot of rather sensitive information on your pc that needs to be encrypted for security than it would be useful. Although if you only need particular files to be encrypted than it is overkill.
  10. If any of the features listed in the table here are beneficial to you.
  11. 1866Mhz is actually a rather common memory speed for DDR3.
  12. It will run at 1333MHz as that is the highest speed that the board supports. Although if by some chance that board supports memory overclocking (most OEM boards don't) you might be able to get the memory to run at 1866MHz.
  13. My bad mean't M.2. Looking at the motherboard specs the drive should be supported although it does state that the M.2 slot shares sata mode with the sata ports. So is there an option in the bios to change the mode of the M.2 slot to PCIE or NVME?
  14. Is it a new or used drive? Try connecting the drive to a different m.2 slot on your motherboard. BTW click the arrow on the bottom of my post to quote me so I can see your reply.
  15. Can you format the disk in diskpart?
