  1. Won't be one this week as business team has been busy with CES!
  2. Thanks, idk why that wasn’t showing up for me
  3. I’m pretty stumped here. Is there any way I can connect my Xbox Series S to my LG CX through HDMI 2.1 and to my monitor through HDMI 1.4 simultaneously so I don’t have to swap cables every time I want to switch between where I want to play? I can’t find any 1-in 2-out HDMI 2.1 splitters or switches.
  4. Hey guys, Helping my friend part out a build, wondering what y’all would put together. $4,000 hard limit for a strictly streaming/editing build, no gaming. The aesthetics are very important, it’s gotta look cool. Thanks for your help!
  5. Hey guys, I put together my new build the other day and I took some pictures. Here's the story: I started out with a VERY dusty build (Yeah I neglected it, temps were still super low though so whatever). After cleaning out the case I was left with this, a bone stock Corsair 550D that I had purchased from an NCIX Warehouse sale many years ago. Here's the new parts I'd be putting in I know that the 9900KS and 2080 Super are both controversial since they're mediocre entries into their respective segments, but, objectively they are outstanding for 1440p 144hz gaming and that's basically all I do besides the other everyday computing stuff. I had decided to reuse my NH-D14 from 2012 and updated the fans on it so that they were both 4-pin. Reattaching the clips to the new fans was super difficult and took a ton of force to work, but it ended up working out. I'm certainly no cable management wizard, but here's what I managed to do with all the parts in. I ended up having to plug another PCI power cable in since just having the one split into an 8-pin and 6-pin was not supplying my card with enough power and was diminishing performance. Here's how it look with the case all closed up and how my setup looks. Temps are pretty good. The CPU runs at about 70-80 degrees during gaming and the 2080S runs at about 65 degrees. I've never owned a computer that runs as silent as this one does at idle, it's astonishing. Here's the full list of parts in this build. Thanks for reading!
  6. Local listings around me are pretty weak
  7. Hey guys, Since I'm upgrading , I'd like to sell my old rig. Can I get an estimate of how much I should sell this for, and if I should part it out or sell it as a complete rig? If I sell it as a complete rig I'd have to get a case for it, I picked that one out that's in the list since it looks good, buildable and cheap. Also, let me know if your response is in CAD or USD. Thanks! 8. Alright fellas, how do we feel about this? I figure I can OC a nice 2080 Super to get performance similar to a low-end 2080ti and use that money to juice the CPU, mobo, and get some new fans to rejuvenate my NH-D14 and my case. P.S. The 9900KS is currently $679.88 here so that's why I have it at that price. 9. Thanks for your reply, do you think that RAM will fit under the NH-D14?
  10. I appreciate the comprehensive list, wicked prices ? never heard of that RAM or storage company, think they’ll be reliable?
  11. I’ve been really struggling to come up with a CPU/Mobo/M.2 combo I should go with. Since 1440p really equalizes FPS for CPUs, I’m not too sure which to go with and what mobo I should choose with it.
  12. Oh hey, and it’s 80+ Gold too. Guess I won’t be needing a new PSU.
  13. Update: You can look at my signature to see what I have now, forgot I set that years ago. Turns out my PSU is 750w, so that’s fun.
  14. Hey guys, My 3570k and GTX 1060 have been feeling outdated lately, I’m looking to get a new rig this holiday season. I’m Canadian and have a budget of about $2600 CAD (All in, tax included). I won’t need a new case or CPU cooler (I’ll reuse my NH-D14 with a mounting kit) or bulk storage drives. I’d like a 250-500GB M.2 drive for my OS and maybe a game or two. I have an EVGA 650w 80+ bronze PSU that I wouldn’t be against upgrading if need be. I have 2 monitors, they’re 1440p 144hz. It would be used for gaming and watching videos/listening to music/watching streams at the same time. I occasionally edit video and photos. Thanks for any advice you can give, guys. I won’t be purchasing anything until Boxing Day sales, but I’d like to get a plan of what I’ll be trying to put together.
