I'm Planning a new build and I have started assembling the parts. one of the parts i am keeping from my current rig is an Asus Strix r9 390 and i looking into modding the side Strix lighting feature (as seen here) so that it is always on instead of breathing. I plan to run a cable from the card to an adapter linked to a molex connector from my psu. watching a disassembly of a gtx 980ti strix i see the led connection is in the bottom right side corner(when looking at card face on) so i should be able to easily route a new cable to it. What I'm wondering is what voltage the leds are on the card. Any help would be appreciated.

  6. the s340 doesnt come with an acrylic window. mnpc tech is releasing a all acrylic milled window that i might pick up
  7. you could get a 140mm aio and mount it up top. that would better fit your budget

  12. for my recent build i bought my cables off of ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/modpcuk?_trksid=p2047675.l2559 thats the store i got them from. wide vareity of cables and colours and they dont cost much compared to other places the cables youll want are the 8pin cpu, 24 pin mobo, and 6 and/or 8 pin pci-e cables.
