  1. So wait, what speeds are you getting currently, do a speed test.
  2. The Rendering times are just a bit high, I would really like to have them cut down a bit. I'm trying to think of some parts for under $500-$600. If I go with 4790k I could cut down a lot of RAM and put that towards a better GPU. Regardless I would like to upgrade to an Intel system since the games that I play favor Intel anyway.
  3. What GPU would you recommend, would a GTX 970 with 4GB of VRAM be sufficient?
  4. Yes, in Adobe Media Encoder I use the Mecury Playback Engine GPU Accelerationn (CUDA), but maybe since I have a 760 its still not that great.
  5. Hey guys, I have an AMD FX-8350 with 8GB of RAM right now. I want to upgrade my system as I am doin more and more 1080p 30/60FPS rendering with Adobe Premire Pro CS6 and all the other cool programs like photoshop. My question is what hardware should I buy into now. I have had this system for over a year and it's time to upgrade. I was thinking about a i7-5820k a single 8GB stick of corsair LPX RAM at 2400 MHz (and eventually another stick) and a MSI X99 Plus motherboard. What do you guys think? (on mobile, so for formatting)
  6. I have the NZXT H440 (Black and Red one) and I love it! As of noise, the fans that it comes with (2 140mms in the front and 1 140mm in the back) are pretty darn quiet. I don't have any issues with airflow at all. I would also check out the Corsair 760T and the Obsidian Series from Corsair.
  7. The main reason I hate it is the face that CPU and RAM ussage is crazy. When I got my laptop if came with Norton and I was at 50% ish CPU usage until I uninstalled it.
  8. You would have to use a micro controller like an Arduino or Raspberry Pie
  9. My dad does not understand Ram vs Storage and thinking Norton is good
  10. I would just wipe out steam, I had a similar problem 4 of my games like Arma 3, CS:.GO, and various others would download an update each time I restarted my computer or even steam. I wound up uninstalling all of my games with steam [Right click then delete local content]. Then re-installed Steam and now I have no problems.
  11. So it all started when I was playing with a friend who was on his level 4 stage still for getting banned from CS:GO Comp. He vote kicked 2 players and was banned, along with me since I was in his lobby. By that point I was very pissed off. Then the second time I played was the minute I got unbanned. I joined a lobby with one of my friends and 3 others he knew. In that game I left and abandoned since I was done with the game at that point. So today after another 7 days I joined a comp game with randoms, hopping I would not get banned from playing with friends. During the game some one thought he was a Ninja and tried to hide from the enemies when ever our team was defusing. Long story short after a few rounds lost some one decided to vote kick the kid. So as everyone accepted it so did I. After we lost the game 4 to 16 or something along those lines I received another ban for 7 more days............. I am done............. does this make any sense. Banned because I accepted a vote to kick on player in the game! Is their any way to get unbanned?
  12. I built my brother's, dad's, and my rig on Christmas, he bought the parts for us
  13. Yeah, you can use RAID 0, but it is kind of unstable. Then again I never tried it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_RAID_levels
  14. You have to go to disk manager and do some other stuff, I'm sorry it's been a while since I did this. You may be able to keep you stuff on the drive, just not boot with it unless you format it and reinstall windows to it or clone your current boot to that one.
  15. Almost all of the leds on my K70 are dead, I just need to ship it to Corsair.
  16. If its any sort of hack than you could get VAC banned from steam
  17. You could always install windows on it
  18. What games are you trying to play and what are your PC Specs
  19. Is it only happening to your computer, can you try others.
