    I think I can sum it up a bit as I am a backer myself. From what was on Dbrands page, they has project killswitch listed with 6 components that will be part of the package. They have released the details onto the steamdeck reddit page where they list out prices and what it includes. You can still go to the site to see what it includes here: Dbrands page link From what I've gathered, those in the subreddit didn't take to kindly to the post, branched off the post and made their own to complain more. I think they do have in their right to complain about what was said and what was done. Which may need to take into considerations on LTT's sponsorship with DBrand for the time being with anything steamdeck related. Added some comments from reddit here in the spoilers. I reserved but I'll likely just refund that and go with another brand, not much harm. However sucks that what was expected is what may of not been given. Price wouldn't of been an issue if it was 70-80 for the entire kit.

    I wouldn't. I have used the app with family recommendation. However it's excruciating bad to get anything once past the registration. They reward you only about 25-200 points per receipt and that's if you don't buy main brands like a normal consumer does. Anything main brand and you're going out spending way more money than necessary. The rewards they give back are miniscule for the amount of money you spend. There's other apps that are a little better that rewards more, but I would expect them to mine your data. I've added phone screenshots of my account summary, some things I bought with the amount listed on the receipt, and how much their rewards are. Edited: Putting images behind Spoiler to not clog up.

    I'd like to chime in and mention that their product page to reserve shows that it should come with the items in this screenshot attached. However upon hearing of the updates to Dbrands Project Killswitch update #4 They have changed up what the components entail. That and made it into a tiered system from what it looks like. R/SteamDeck is reasonably upset about what is a potential bait and switch as some point out. Link to Dbrands website. My general thoughts. I already downvoted as you can see in screenshot too. So i'm displeased with how Dbrand is taking this as of the current time and might not be a good idea to sponsor them until they can sort this out. Especially as LTT Heavily favors the Steamdeck, and Linus personally loving the upgrades they've made to the deck. This wouldn't be a good image to continue working with them especially around the steamdeck at this time.

    I'll probably do that just to sell it, and go with another manufacture. I've already had to RMA the board once Strangely it had some problems with ram, however the ultimate cause to rma it last time was a bios update failed. System hanged and no dual bios to save my time.

    Ok so here's the rigerous testing I did before I made this post. Specs Ryzen 1700 Stock 32GB G.Skill AEGIS 16GBx2 Ram kit MSI B350 Gaming Pro EVGA GTX1080 850Watt PSU Sentey Samsung 840 Evo Problems started last week. OS shows 16gb out of the 32gb I have. Cleared Cmos Reseated everything. Installed latest bios version for my mobo, 2.6 Still 16/32GB, I put memtest on a USB Flashdrive as a bootable drive. Place one stick in, ran memtest. overnight. Success! (4 passes) Place other Stick in, ran memtest the 2nd night. Success! (4 passes) Repeated but in slot two for both tests the last 2 nights. Both turn out success again. (both with 6 passes this time since I had much longer sleep + Work) Place both sticks back in. 16/32gb still shows Am I missing something or is my motherboard just that horrible?

    Holy shat that voltage. But I do love ryzen processors. I currently own a 1700, over clocked it to 3.6 @ 1.3Vs Playing it safe for now until Cooler master gets their Seidon class AIO's to receive the am4 bracket update Still waiting =( ) also I got my memory (32gb, 16gbx2) to 2400 Mhtz @ 1.25Vs CL 15 It's great for doing all the work I need.

    Nah somehow it was clearing the cmos that fixed the Smt issue. Windows 7 isn't officially supported by amd, but I'm still able to use the OS. Right now SMT is on and I went ahead did a cinebench to see how It stacks up.

    I get HT and SMT mixed up. So used to saying HT because up until now Intel had their variant of SMT.

    Ok so this is just an on going occurrence that'll hopefully get fixed. I started to freak out a bit because I do a lot of Cad work, Modeling, After effects, Compile, Hex edit. All sorts of stuff.

    Ok, this is weird. There's not SMT option anywhere on the bios. (And it tends to freeze a lot gonna contact MSI on that.) But I went ahead and cleared the cmos, this time taking out the battery. (I used the jumpers last time), and now SMT is enabled. But anyway going to post Bios Pictures and let you guys have a look. (Phone camera so bare the quality)

    Hello, I just bought the new AMD Ryzen 1700 cpu, MSI B350 Gaming Pro Mobo, and a 32GB Kit of G.Skill Aegis. OS is Windows 7. As of right now I have No Idea why my Hyperthreading on my Ryzen cpu is Disabled. I Don't have any Overclocking right now, and It was working before (See attachment), I have tried a Cmos reset, but that hasn't fixed my problem. Windows is set to High Performance and none of my cores are parked. I have another drive that has My windows 10 OS and it also shows 8 cores with no hyperthreading. Am I doing something wrong, or is it some sort of bug I happen to have? Will Post Mobo Bios pics if you need them.     let's not make each other an issue. Obviously your sarcasm on the first post ticked me wrong, So honestly apologies on my end for throwing some shade at you. Lets not get at each others throats for some shitty reason lol. So yeah, i'm an emotional wreck right now so i'm kinda venting my frustrations (which isn't good.) and it's a personal reason as well.

    What credit card? I used my money that I worked for. So actually I used my Debt card. So I had one mistake with money. So I should have my Card confiscated from me? My credit Score is in the Good to Very Good Range. I financed a car that's under My name, and I'm currently 2 months of payments Ahead. Please. Don't tell me how to manage my money. If I made a mistake Oh well.

    The persons store is gone however their username was joyfulisa, and at the time before I bought the Cpu, they had one positive review. Which that review was around 2009. Also yeah, I'm not too worried about this since I'm told by amazon that they'll refund me on Tuesday. I didn't see any negative reviews from the person until 2 days after I purchased from them. Yeah, I never really had a problem with amazon or third party's since being a member since 2015. So i am at fault for being negligent on fully reviewing the person.

    So I was shopping for Ryzen Processors as I'm upgrading to the platform from my AM3 Fx 8320 Platform. I usually shop on amazon since I have Prime Membership and Usually get that 2 day shipping bonus. (since Amazon has a catalog for almost everything and I also get Student benefits) However I caught myself a scam that's going on around the Ryzen 1700. I bought the cpu on amazon because of the price, I was thinking "$300 + 5 dollar shipping?? That's a deal there" Well and behold I got scammed. No tracking number since March 15th and the seller has a lot of horrid reviews now since my purchase. I've already contacted amazon and by around Tuesday/Wednesday I'll receive my money back and I'll be on my merry way to building the ryzen system =D. Until then, I'm here to give a warning to those wanting to buy a Ryzen 1700 cpu from amazon. I went ahead and bought the CPU from Newegg and it'll be here at my Home Wednesday along with the motherboard. I've also made a video talking about this, although I'm not the best speaker. I'm just giving a PSA so that other won't fall for the same trap as me. Also mods, I hope I posted this in the right area, if not please send this thread to the right area.

    I hate that type of stuff. It's just going into storage. if there's ever a time that I may ever need it. (Doubt it) It's there and ready to be used. Tbh I already have 1Gbit Networking in the house I'm living in.

    So the story is short, My dad works as a Internet/Phone Service Tech. His co-worker gives this to him because he has no use for something like this. (Neither do I. I don't have a ISA Bus on anything) So, Here's some pictures of it. [PS, is this post in the right area?]

    Eh, the rack mount probably wouldn't fit inside my closet on the Side I want it. Also that server would cost, 150.17 that's including shipping, and then factor in Buying 3.5 Inch HDD's as well. SO 1tb would be about $30. So Grand total would be about 180.17 (USD) So that System with its specs and price, I'll list it here. (X1) Intel Xeon Quad Core E5506 2.13 Ghtz 16 GB of ram 1tb of HDD for $180.17 USD However the lil server I'm custom building with my own 3d parts only costed a grand total of $191.82 USD And between the 2, I think I'm getting more power in the initial run because the only upgrades I'm going to do later is More HDD's. However I'm glad to see some suggestions about this topic.
