  1. 7.8GB Cached....that seems like a lot from what I've seen. You think this was my problem?
  2. I appreciate this, I will check into this when I get home.
  3. Hello All, To make this short and sweet - I pull up Call of Duty: Warzone and can be playing perfectly fine for two games or so and then my game will all of the sudden will drop down to 5 FPS and the whole computer starts lagging/stuttering. If i click out of the game even my programs such as chrome, task manager, spotify, etc. will crash. I've tried playing with and without any other programs open and it makes no difference it still happens until I can force close the game and everything returns back to normal. My first instinct was to turn everything down on the game as far as graphics go, but it did not seem to help at all. CPU: Intel i7-5820k 3.3Ghz 6-Core Processor MOBO: Asus X99-DELUXE ATX LGA2011-3 GPU: Asus GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB STRIX RAM: Corsair Vengance 32GB DDR4-3000 Memory: Samsung 850 EVO- Series 1TB Is my computer bottle necking somewhere is what my question is or could this be something else? Thanks in advanced.
  4. So i guess my biggest thing i want to be able to do is switch the source of my audio with ease... So say i have my soundbar turned on and my headphones on as well, i want to be able to switch between the two with the press of a button (theoretically) @Quadrum is that something the Scarlet 2i2 could possibly do? Does it come with software that could make it possible to switch between sources like that? @Blasteque Same question as above, but am I wasting money with features i may never use? Would you suggest another mixer in the 100-200 price range or a better company to purchase from? I'm not set on Yamaha, I'm open to anything. Thanks to both of you for your replies.
  5. First off - I know barely anything about audio setups so this is why i'm searching for help. WHAT I HAVE: I have a custom built PC with a Schitt Stack (Magni 2 & Modi 2) right now with my Sennheiser HD650's going into those to listen to my computer with a Blue Snowball microphone plugged directly into my PC, I also have a Bluetooth/Aux soundbar that I enjoy watching movies or music over often. WHAT I WANT: Microphone - Audio-Technica AT2035 Large Diaphragm Studio Condenser Microphone. -I want to be able to plug this microphone into a mixer/audio interface and be able to control the way it sounds on the mixer/audio interface but i would be fine fixing it through a program (Adobe audition?). -I want to be able to switch my computer's music back and forth between my soundbar (aux) and my HD650's with ease because as of now i have to go through windows to switch sources. Do i need a large mixer like this? or do i need just a small setup like this? TLDR; I have a mic/soundbar/headphones and i want to control them from one place. Do i need a mixer or a small audio interface?
  6. Hey guys! Lifeguard here, my Dad work's as a General manager for manufacturing homes. Across the plant he has four (or more) smart TV's that he need's to display information (such as power points, excel sheets, pictures, word documents). All of these smart TV's are connected on the same WiFi as his main desktop PC. I understand that a windows wireless display adapter is the best for mirror casting my screen onto one of the TV's. However how can he mirror cast off of his PC from his office, on to the four computers in the building simultaneously? Basically what his plan is, is to be able to come in in the morning and display their daily numbers they need to hit to be on schedule for production hours & other useful information. However he doesn't want to have to walk around and upload these individually to each TV, so he wants to be able to display the same information from his PC to these four or more smart TV's. TLDR; I need to Cast (Images/Microsoft office documents/slideshows) from my PC to four smart TV's throughout a building, all of which are on the same WiFi. -Is it possible? -How so? -Would chrome cast work? Thank you guys! -A Lifeguard
  7. Just got the echo, I'm looking for cheaper but quality light bulb solutions and smart plug solutions Lightbulbs I need the light bulbs to be multicolor, I don't mind paying a little extra for quality... But is phillips hue setup worth it? Are the other brands with no hub any good? Smart plugs Any good suggestions? I personally use two power strips for my desk computer setup... Is there any benefit j would get from using smart plugs in those locations? Just to be able to see power usage and turn the whole power strips on and off?
  8. I appreciate all the feedback as I am no electrician and I have no common knowledge of electricity other than plugging it in and it working. But thank you all for informing me and helping me not burn my house down. I am going to have to make some sacrifices in the heater area in order to achieve what I want. Thank you all!
  9. First off, sorry If this is the wrong place for this thread. However, I have found two UPS Systems that I am currently looking at to buy here in the next few days. I currently have this computer , along with three monitors, a 60" TV, Soundbar, space heater, and an xbox all hooked up to through two crappy surge protectors at the moment and my problem is that I can't run my space heater for long without blowing a breaker. I understand that I can only run so much at once from the outlets in my room. However my question is, if i disperse it more across the outlets in my room would that make a difference rather than having it just in two outlets? Also, with the recent amount of breakers blown and random shutdowns of my computer I have decided to upgrade to a UPS and better quality surge protectors: Are either of these reliable and will help with my situation? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003Y24DEU/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I2GV8KCWTE8TOV&colid=3MPQPVB8X5KY6&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00429N19W/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=IN28WINTBIFIG&colid=3MPQPVB8X5KY6&psc=1 Thanks in advance guys, I appreciate the help. -A Lifeguard
  10. I just bought a Razer Orbweaver and I am thinking of the possibilities for its use and making day to day tasks easier, also for gaming. My question is, Is there a place where people share their macro profiles, game profiles for the orbweaver? I am lazy and feel it would take forever to set it up for each individual game I play. I also dabble in Adobe suite; photoshop, premiere pro, after effects...etc. Do people use these for easier macro setups? I would appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction or any other feedback, thanks guys!
  11. Considering buying a Razer Orbweaver here pretty soon. So I have a few questions Should I buy Orbweaver chroma or Tartarus Chroma or any other suggestions? Is there somewhere that I can download the macro sets for pre-made macros for games such as league of legends, Adobe Photoshop... Etc.? Thank you! A lifeguard
  12. I personally have a Dx Racer and I've had it for two years now. I love it and it's super comfortable. For the price I payed it has more than held up and I sit on it daily for a few hours at a time. So yes they are worth it if you like the style and can afford it. However if you arent dead set on buying a gaming chair then look around, there are plenty of high end computer chair options. I know RandomfrankP on YouTube uses a super ergonomic one but it's pretty expensive. It all depends on what you want
  13. So the gimble is what controls the stability aspect of it? Such as how the Phantom 4 has basically little to no wobble in its footage? I LOVE that phantom 4 however paying 1,000+ for a full set up would be out of question. Any opinions on Parrot? & Thanks @Sam. I will look into the Maverick or Spark!
  14. Hmm I would maybe be shooting for something under 500? Is that reasonable or won't even scratch the surface?
