  1. In that case I would stick with the i5 for now, should be fine. Also consider Zen from AMD for your next build, since it will probably have many cores. I would recommend an AMD octacore right now, but Vishra is just so old.
  2. It depends on what you are doing. Most games wont really benefit much from hyper threading, so no point in upgrading to an i7, or even ever getting an i7 in the future if your just gaming. If you are editing or streaming, and need that hyper threading then yes.
  3. You can use any port, it doesnt matter. Although budget monitors dont typically have a displayport, which is the far left. Just about any monitor should be able to plug into the top one, its called DVI. Also the one you are using right now is HDMI.
  4. 8 gigs of ram, not 16 for sure. Also try to get a core i5 6500 or 6400 and an AS rock or MSI z170 board, so you can overclock it.
  5. The Dell will give you the most bang for your buck, and is at a completly different price point. The First MSI listed one is the best of the other three, since the second on is like 400$ more expensive.
  6. A 6600K and only 8GB of RAM might be better. Also in terms of raw performance the R9 390 is a better card, and slightly cheaper. Unless you care about nVidia only special technologies. And unless you are future proofing, you probably dont need a 1000W power supply, although you might just be preparing for sli down the road. And in terms of a case, i like DIY-PC cases because they have no branding on them, which is great since I built the pc, not them.
  7. You could get a G3258 instead, depending on what you play, and drop in a higher end cpu later since its on the 1150 platform.
  8. No expert but that seems a little overpriced for only 16GB of ram, and you might want to run 2 sticks instead of 4, so you can upgrade later if you want. Also the R9 390 is a better card for raw gaming, but you might want the nVidia card because its more popular, so it will be optimized more, shadowplay might help you record/stream, and for the lower power consumption.
  9. Thats actually very interesting, thats good. Budget gaming laptops might become a thing now. But still, a laptop is a laptop. Good for being portable, but i cant stand such a small screen for gaming, and you also cant upgrade it. That CPU will be good for at least 7-8 years, (unless hexacore cpus from intel become a thing in budget), but the gpu will be over in 2-3 years.
  10. Immagine this, you have a full tower pc. It has a ton of extra space in it. That extra space is to accomodate big graphics cards right? Say you get the smallest case you can find, and it supports a 8" GPU, and u have a 4" GPU. Thats space wasted, making your pc bigger then needed.
  11. Get a new PSU. Even if its not the issue, you shouldnt trust that PSU. Its using a lowercase w instead of a capital one, meaning it can output a max of 500w, but not constantly,
