  1. I'm not 100% sure on how to check for dirty power but I would connect a UPS which will give you clean power
  2. Well I don't know a lot but might I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling your graphics drivers and maybe your power supply is acting up it's the only two things that come to my mind
  3. IM not sure if i am going to bite the bullet on it i am hesitant on getting used pc parts but its a 980
  4. From what i just read AMD Zen 8 Core 95W Summit Ridge CPUs are due in October might want to hold out till then for the overhaul but if it were me i would go with the 980 i was eyeing that one up this morning on my way to work

  8. Lol I currently have a 70 gb hdd in my pc thats about 8 years old I would love somthing newer before this one kicks it I float with about 4 gbs of free space all the time
  9. easy step first lol This maybe a dumb respones but if you did just move parts over did you make sure the cpu fan is connected and running 2nd step if as you said you reapplied the thermal paste then If you can get in to windows check your temps on cpu z if your temps are normal you could try clearing the CMOS or updating the BIOS

  11. Hi peeps I have a question I am being offered A Antec 1100 case I realize is a 3 year old model but the case is new it's being offered to me for $70 Canadian is it worth it or should I find a newer model case so if you guys have any thoughts or opinions please let me know thank you

  13. I I actually have that power supply selected but just in case in the future I want to put another video card in my PC I want to have the power there also I will keep the R9 380 in mind I was going to go with 8 but 16 is a little more future proofing in my mind
