CosmosusMagnus's Achievements

  1. CPU and Mobo choice were due to price, found a super good deal for both of them, and the board REV 2 is more than capable to handle what;s being thrown at it
  2. _________________________________________________________________ CPU: AMD FX-6350 @ 5.4GHz (Temps max at 62C full load stable) Cooler: Coolermaster Seidon 120M Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3P Rev. 2 RAM: (x2 8GB) 16GB DDR3 1866MHz 8-8-8-23 (same sticks, different sinks) GPU: Saphire R9 290X Tri-X OC / Core: 1300MHz / Memory: 1625MHz / Stable ( http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/details.php?id=h4sg7 ) SSD: ADATA SP900 128GB SSD (OS Drive) HDD1: 2TB Toshiba HDD2: 750GB Seagate PSU: EVGA Supernova 750G2 80+ Gold 750 Watt Case: Fractal Design R5 OS: Windows 8.1 Pro x64 _________________________________________________________________ A friend gave me some money and told me "MAKE COMPOOTER PLZ", therefore, I made compooter. I haven't made many posts on the forum so I thought I would throw this up here. ^ ^ ^ I painted the mobo's I/O plate and all the expansion covers black so they would match. It's a personal preference! > Anyway, as I said above I haven't made too many posts on the tech tips forums, so I am taking my real step into that water. *puts his foot in* COLD! This build was entertaining to throw together, and all the overclocks are tested stable with an AIDA64 Extreme test, three days. The GPU was tested otherwise >
  3. I've had the Nexus 7 2013 and it's been an absolute blessing. I use it for many things, some of those including being mounted to my wall for my live RSS feeds, weather, emails, and more. I hook up a 1TB SSD to it in the car using an OTG-Y Cable (I modified a 7 inch tablet case to contain the SSD and mount on the car's dash) so I can have my entire music library with me and never run out of power for long trips (it's around 876GB of flacs) and listen to em through the car with RocketPlayer. I use my keyboard an mouse with it when I go to a friends house and need to write things and dont feel like lugging bigger things in a bigger pack....I could use a laptop , but meh. Nexus 7 2013 + Android 5.0 + SmartLauncher 2 + Root = God. Then again, this is all personal preference I also have mine overclocked to 2.4GHz
  4. While this ACCOUNT isn't exactly new, I only used it to post in an older 6GHz club with my older Phenom II. Now I return and shall stay Hi, I am Lucas. I like hugs Nice place you have here! *snuggles into the LinusTechTipc couch*
  5. 6 was pretty difficult to hit, I must admit
  6. Made an account so I could post my old Phenom II overclock here :P (It's even validated! XD ) http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=2444338 For some reason, CPU-Z stopped reading the proper voltages around 5.3GHz, and I had to use nitrogen to get here with all 6 cores enabled (i think it's cheating when you turn cores off). I do not have any screens of temps, nor prime95, currently. I have to search around to find them; will post once I manage this. My page on TekSyndicate: https://teksyndicate.com/users/cosmosusmagnus I did run Prime for around an hour. Had to stop because I was running low on n :<
