  1. yeah i agree its just that i didnt expect that my much older xeons could be able to allow the gpu to go to its limit.
  2. 2560x1440, no one cpu core goes above 50 percent, gpu is maxed tho
  3. crazy idea, if you know there is nothing too important in the video you can go on reddit and give it to those random people, im sure someone there will somehow recover it XD
  4. i doubt anything would be there but i would check event veiwer, and after that i would do a RAM test
  5. I have 4 screen with all various sizes and resolutions 2560x1440 170hz asus monitor 1920x1080 75hz acer monitor 1920x1080 60hz asus monitor 1680x1050 60hz gateway monitor
  6. i wouldnt try heavy multitasking but it should be able to handle 4k video and editing photos
  7. oh i actuall didnt know that, i was thinking it was like before where u couldnt....okay well if thats the case the screen looks fine, and it has an ssd. the 3 cell battery is kinda small but according to the review the AMD stuff doesn use that much power soooo i think its a solid little machine
  8. as an IBM fan that is the coolest thing i have ever seen and thats after i already have like 15 different IBM machines
  9. It has windows 10 in S mode, that means you are limited to ONLY using the apps from the windows store and you cannot download third party programs and install them at all like in normal windows. Are you fine with that?
  10. So I have a dual xeon E5-2697 v2 system and a EVGA GTX 1070 superclocked and i run into gpu bottlenecks more often that i really expect even in same cases in counter strike i push the gpu to 99% usage is it that there are more multi threded games now and the gtx 1070 can no longer keep up??
  11. i suggest actually just keep the 24gb ram in and run it at the slower speed, even though its not 3200mhz, based on what you are doing it may not actually make that much of a difference
  12. I think that the 16gb kit CAN handle the xmp profile but the 8GB sticks cannot,... so if you really need ore than 16gb then id keep them in and just live with the slower speeds...but if you dont need the extra ram...then take the 8gb sticks out and keep ur ram at the higher speed
  13. i had forgotten was it LGA 1366 that was server/workstation only or was it LGA 1567?
  14. LSI 9212-4i4e 6Gb SAS Controller Card HBA Card Internal External IT Mode US | eBay this would be great, even if you dont intend to use sas drives.
  15. well that sounds very similar to the issue that i sent a screenshot of, if you get a new ssd and the problem goes away, then what can try to do is if you have more than one m.2 slot, you can clone you windows install from the old drive to the new one and return the old ssd if you dont want it.
  16. according to this similar issue it is the ssd's fault
  17. until you get an OS installed and all that i would keep xmp disabled... but other than that, i assume you do not have another m.2 drive to test the slot with right? if you do then put in another one to see if that one shows up if you dont, the safe bet could be to just return the motherboard and get another one, or same with the ssd.. tbh its hard to see which is the issue when you dont have other parts to test with
  18. I assume you tried resetting the BIOS already?
  19. Since i have a decent bit of space and power, i set premier to do it at around 80mbps
  20. what motherboard do you have, i can give you the best cpu in that generation, but that doesnt mean the motherboard would support it.
